Just a blah hotel restaurant
Would like to give a proper review but came into town for business meetings and made lunch reservations only to find out the restaurant decided not to open for lunch. Would've been nice for someone to reach out to notify me. Left us scrambling to find a new restaurant at the last minute.
They took our reservation but were not open. Also didn’t notify anyone waiting for their reservation that they were closed.
Horrible service my son and I sat at a table for 15 minutes and no one even ask us what we would like to drink. Not even a hello.
The drinks were fine. However, the room with the bar has a weird smell. It reminds me of a bathroom, you can smell the moisture. If you’re sensitive to smells, have a backup option.
We ended up at the hotel restaurant as it was late on a Sunday night and most other local restaurants were already closed. They were busy and I assume understaffed as it took quite a while to get an order placed. The menu was limited and basic but exactly what we needed so we could get to bed. Turkey sandwich came with processed turkey lunch meat, not turkey breast. The French fries were very salty. Salads were good with fresh lettuce.
It’s ok, decent beer selection. I had burnt ends meal. Pretty good. Seems like a good place to watch a game.
Perfect spot to have some beers and watch TV. We also enjoyed the Avocado fries and the Turkey Melt. For breakfast we had the buffet which was just the perfect size, not too big.
We have been to the Sheraton many times and have eaten at Spectators many times but on this trip, we only had breakfast 3x's and dinner once and that was to-go. The breakfast buffet is great--eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, cereal, pastries, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, and even salmon! For dinner, I had a mixed greens salad and french onion soup and the soup was excellent. It's a bit price-y but you expect that inside a hotel...
Its in the Marriott, 2nd floor. Good size bar.12 stools at bar. Plenty of tables. Pretty good bar menu. Not just typical bar fare. Not only wings, nachos, fries, but a great dinner menu. Steak, salmon, burgers, chicken, and of course bbq. I only had a cup of chili. But it was pretty darn tasty. Also, in addition to a full var and a nice variety of bottled beer, there 12 beers on tap. Overall pretty good place.
