What a wonderful surprise. This Creole Cuisine could not have been any better even if you brought New Orleans up here to me. Both my meal and that of my dining partner was Top Rate. Our Cocktails were of the traditional sort but with a refreshing Down South Louisiana Twist. The Crawfish in the Appetizers was fresh and perfectly prepared. The entrées could seriously not have been prepared better even if done by New Orleans' Best Creole Chefs. I will have to return for Desert as I was not prepared for the shear size of the food presented to us. Had absolutely no room for the Sweet Stuff.Soiree's Steak & Oyster House on the corner of 18th Street and Paseo is the Creole Food Destination in Kansas City.
Great Staff! The salmon plate was delicious. The chargrilled oysters were awesome! This my first visit and will not be my last!

We had the most amazing time at Soiree' this past weekend. They were so accommodating with reserving a table setting for 20 people to help me celebrate my new job promotion! The service was excellent and the food was good!! Oh and the drinks were Marvelous! Thank you for making my special moment more memorable. Oh I cant forget Ms. Tyler is so beautiful and her customer service skills are impeccable!!!!
Reservation was made through Open Table but upon arrival at restaurant, there was no record of the reservation in their system. They were great about honoring the reservation and made appropriate accommodations for our group!

From the older reviews, it's clear that the restaurant has taken note of issues and improved. I ordered the surf and turf and my steak was cooked to perfection, medium well like I ordered. The servings were generous as well. We ordered drinks and those arrived on time, the server was also knowledgeable and helpful in making suggestions. Food didn't take too long, and the atmosphere was so lively that time flew by. The music is really, really loud to the point that you have to yell to be heard by those at your table, but it is a live music spot so that is to be expected. Dessert varies from day to day, but I wish they would put a desert menu on the table so that you know what the options are without having to ask.
Absolutely loved the atmosphere!!!! Live music, great good and great people!!! We didn’t have reservations but M’s. Yvette got us the best seat in the house and gave us a awesome waiter Ameer!!!! I’m super happy that I came all this way from Korea to find these lovely hidden gems!!!!! If I’m ever here again I will definitely revisit!!!!
