When you walk in this establishment all cares & stress in life seem to roll off your back like water off a ducks tail.The chef was patient, knowledgeable, and helpful with recommendations. He also answered any questions I had about the menu.Kathy was a joy! She was sweet, helpful, and took genuine interest in me as well as all other patrons! She also offered sound wisdom and shared part of her personal story with me. I will definitely be coming back!

I'm 21 years old and I never got on google to write a review so you know this is SERIOUS!!!!!! My co-workers went to this place and spent $165 on a place with the WORST customer service ever. I thought since this was a black owned business everything was going to be ok. My mom food was wrong and I took a 30 minute drive for nothing. They got her order wrong but since they supposedly showed my co-workers the 6 orders there was a no return policy. I had a receipt and they still wouldn't acknowledge the incorrect order even with the plate split open and juice every where I asked the lady to give me another tray she still wouldn't. I DEFINETLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!! 0 stars if I could.
This place has amazing food. Generous portions. Not overly priced. And if you haven't had them before, try the ox trails! They are fantastic! Really a hidden gem in the city!
We tried the oxtail curry, stewed chicken, jerk chicken and fried plantain. We also tried the little beef pie( don't remember what their called). Everything we had was sooooo good and the fried plantain was the best thing to eat with everything.. I need to go back
Visited with family, had a great time and the food was delicious, we ordered in the restaurant and we were served within 20 min! ?

This food has 0 flavor I literally just got my food so disappointed this was like $50 for me to have to season my food at home …….. the owner basically said oh well she doesn’t try to fix the situation what do ever and the oxtails hardly have meat on them this place is a joke everyone giving them 4 stars must be people they know never will be coming here again reggae out here is wayyyy better.
Food was bland minus the oxtail which needed to be cooked longer. Was fearful I had COVID until I tasted the lemon cake.
I just patronized this restaurant and when leaving I had a dirty napkin. The owner had an issue with me throwing my napkin in their trash bin. I said I just order food from you. He said ok, but you should still ask to use the trash bin. I toss the rest of the food in the trash up the street that left a bad taste . Never again never again!!Like I said I placed a soiled napkin in the trash. I was going to throw the calypso bottle that I bought from you also in the trash but you had an issue with it. I Don't need to make false statements.
