Had lunch, food was good. Margaritas were terrible not to mention we had to specifically ask for a drink menu and there were no prices on it at all. Asked the waiter prices and he had to go ask the bartender. Weird. Recomend the enchiladas, not the margaritas!

Very tasty. More on the authentic side than the tex mex that many are used to in this region. So I loved it! And the wait staff is super nice everytime. I recommend this one for sure.

I didn't love it like I hoped I would. Will try something different next time I go. Salsa, espinaca, and chips were top notch. The beans and rice were good too. Vermicelli was a little bland for my tastes. Cheese and onion enchilada was okay but I didn't care for my beef taco.

Ordered from here for my coworker and myself. His chimicanga looked really good. He said it was pretty good too. I like that there are a few vegetarian options including being able to build a plate. The "beef crumble" recipe needs some work. It was like a dry falafel mix and it wasn't great. I wish they had a veggie option for the chimicanga too. Overall, not too bad for the price and what you get.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Rudy's after too, TOO long a time, and had a wonderful experience! We ate around 2:00 pm, so there weren't many customers; Miguel was our server and was very efficient and attentive. I had the Vegetarian plate (with quesadilla, fajitas, and nopalitos), and my husband had the enchiladas aztecas. Everything was delicious! I'd forgotten how tasty Rudy's tortilla chips are--light and crispy, not at all oily--and their salsa was excellent. I had a house margarita on the rocks which was well made and refreshing. The restaurant's space is bright, clean and welcoming, just like the staff. We had a great lunch and can't wait to return for our next meal!(By the way: for the first time, we decided to park in the corner lot that is designated for Rudy's customers, and it was a breeze to get into and out of. No more street parking for us!)

Taco Tuesday and I decided to have the street tacos (Carne aside and the carnitas). But I was undecided when another person ordered something called the El Dorado burrito I think. It was huge!!! I stuck with the tacos and beans and rice and was not disappointed. And was surprisingly full afterwards. The taste was authentic. I happen to know a little something in this field being that I'm in Arizona a lot and the food is so good. The food was delicious and will definitely bring me back again for more.

The fried tacos were unique... never seen or had them before.. but good! Refried beans were better than most restaurants, and the rice was average. Sopapillas were excellent. Sad they were out of fried ice cream!

These were the best tacos I've ever had. I have never heard of someone deep frying tacos and topping with parmesan cheese and I'll be honest, it didn't sound ideal. I am glad to admit i was wrong! I came back the next day again before catching my flight back home. Even the Mexican rice is more flavorful than most to where I didn't want to eat beans with it and preferred it by itself. Take the rice and the hot salsa they serve with your chips and place them inside the tacos. They're even better that way!

We had dinner Monday evening. I understand they were understaffed and our server warned us she had just seated at table of 12. She did the very best she could do. Our main issue was the food. My husband ordered the tenderloin. Not your typical for a Mexican restaurant, but a friend had suggested it. When it arrived the bun was as hard as a rock… literally! Our poor server was no where to be found, so the other two guests had finished before he could see about getting another bun. He waited so long and finally just ate the meat, which was cold by this time. We showed the server the bun and she said I know. We will not return to Rudy’s This was actually a second chance anyway for one of the guest. One another note. There was two food runners leaning at the hostess deck that could have helped the two servers by filling our drinks that were never refilled. Very poor management that evening. And yes, we tipped our server over 20%.
