We went for the first time yesterday. I was excited because, as a vegan, I had options with the jackfruit tacos. There were plenty of open tables but it still took almost 10 minutes for someone to come seat us. Then much longer to get our order placed. And getting our food took about 30 minutes after that. I had ordered the Jackfruit Street Taco Platter which are supposed to come with corn tortillas. As someone who is gluten sensitive that is important to me. When we finally got our food I dug in, being very hungry by this point, and rolled up some of the ingredients into a tortilla and ate it quickly. It wasn't until after I ate the first taco I realized the tortillas were wheat. I was pissed. I grabbed the waitress and told her of the error. She ran off and said sorry I'll bring you some corn tortillas. 10 minutes later she comes back with corn tortillas. I said I can't eat this now please get me a to go box. I need to go home and prepare for the allergic response that is coming from eating wheat. She was like ok...well here's your check and have a good rest of your day. Won't be back.

Great food and drinks. At a good price!

Highly recommend the coconut margaritas and the birria tacos. Both were utterly delicious and we will definitely be back soon. Kiddos loved the guacamole, queso, and street tacos as well. Service wasn't the best but the atmosphere and good more than made up for it.

This place has great drinks and an amazing deco theme and vibe. The chips and salsa were a nice treat and we were even gifted another basket for free ?Our server was great as well.I must complain about the tacos. They were not good...at all. (Happy Hour Menu)They were dry and the tortillas fell apart as soon as I went to pick them up.This place didn't do it for me but it may for someone else.I encourage you all to try it for yourself especially because there are so many other positives about it.

not very good food. service was alright

My son and I sat in the lobby for a while, took quite some time for us to be seated and we were not greeted whatsoever. Everyone else around us were tended to multiple times while we waited. Then when we were seated, we sat for about 10-15 minutes and nobody came out to greet us. The server walked by our table multiple times and said nothing. We weren’t offered a chip or a drink. Unfortunately won’t be coming back.

The Barrio is my husband and I’s go-to neighborhood bar! We live within walking distance and absolutely love stopping by for a drink or quick bite. The service is incredible and the food and drinks are delicious. This last Friday, my husband and I brought some of our family and friends to the Barrio for welcome drinks for our wedding weekend. The Barrio let us reserve plenty of space, the service was incredible, the live music was a blast, and we just had an incredible evening. If you want amazing service and delicious food, definitely check out The Barrio!

Barrio has wonderful food and amazing service! We’ve been there twice with friends and no matter how long we stay, the staff is always attentive and friendly! The interior is well designed, nicely appointed, and on weekends there is live music. For us, most Mexican restaurants are a place to just eat. Barrio’s is the whole package!

Happy hour is great .. friendly staff

This place is HUGE which should be your first clue that the food will be mediocre and the service bad. The place delivered as advertised. Our group had multiple order errors, NO Mexican beer available (I am not making this up!) and food quality sadly lacking. Lack of staff (if indeed this was a problem) is no excuse, they should simply limit the number of diners. The place was jam packed with customers eating poor quality food. If you want to dine in a crowd this is the place. If you want a decent Mexican meal, this is not the place to go. Yuch!
