This was a cool little venue. Drinks were good, bartenders attentive. The only problem was the internet said they have food and they don't. Not a deal breaker. They'll let you order food in. I don't know if that was just for this show.
Awesome place to go for latin night. They had a live salsa band and the atmosphere here is great and the drinks are reasonably priced. Will be back again when I am in KC for latin night. Great place.

Small venue makes artists more accessible to fans...
What a great venue spot for the city to get some incredible artists to play at. Bar and bartenders have great customer service and drink menu is pretty reasonable for drinks no matter your taste. Lots of space for a packed house so check out who's coming next, then come grab a drink and enjoy yourself
Arbitrary Covid Policy - I respect that the RB has a right to require proof of vax, but their new policy states it's only required IF the artist requires it, and I showed up for a show where there was absolutely no mention of a vax requirement and was still prevented entry. There is apparently no way to know if it is required ahead of time. I would've made plans to get tested if the event would've stated it was a requirement. I don't know how to comply if they won't tell me how to comply. Be consistent otherwise selective enforcement leaves potential patrons embarrassed and barred entry at the door, who would've otherwise complied if they would've known the requirements.

Great space for an event or band. Located in a great area of the city. Just attended the budtender appreciation event there and had a great time. Bar staff was friendly. Vibe was chill. I will definitely return for future events or live music
Haven’t been to recordBar since they moved from Westport. New location in P&L is great. Recently caught the Shiner/Spotlights show here. Great sound, bathrooms were the cleanest/safest I’ve seen during the pandemic. Bar and bands both worked hard to make everyone feel safe and taken care of. Had an absolute blast. Def go support this local legend of a venue.
Such a cool smaller venue! Fully loaded bar... And SUPER clean bathrooms, and yeah that's kind of a big deal for shows. I highly recommend catching shows here.
