Ray's donuts are amazing. The staff is friendly and make you feel very welcome. The shirts are very nice as well.

Great, fresh donuts that are so light and tasty. If you are there falrly early, you will see that they have a huge variety of donuts and so many wonderful, oversized cinnamon buns, knots and delicious apple fritters. ♡The biggest plus is the pleasant, happy people that wait on you!!! ♡Now, what could be better for a family morning donut run? I just don't know.♡
Arrived a little after 8am and there were still plenty of options. I got the sour cream and cake w/ cherry glaze. Both tasted fresh and wonderful. Our service was excellent. The woman who helped us was pleasant. She was on the phone with someone and apparently she had messed up an order. She handled herself humbly offering to deliver a new dozen herself after she got off work.

It's the original recipe for Lamar's donuts. So it's gonna be great tasting donuts if your a KC native, you know them. After a couple of them, you'll be fat and happy, needing a nap.
This placed ruined my Mother's day. I stayed awake to order donuts for my mom. I didn't want to wake up my friend who was sleeping on my couch. So I couldn't get to my debit card. They failed to mention if you're not there within an hour of when you say you'll be there they will sell them. I said I would have my friend there between 9/930. She called me at 10 to tell me they sold my donuts. I will never go back there again which is said we went there twice a month.

We love Ray's! I know some people like their cake donuts, but the yeast raised donuts are where it's at. Fluffy, not overly greasy, and they have a nice selection of pastry options. Show up early if you can; the selection thins out the later in the morning it gets.
