Hadn't been there since I moved to South Carolina 30 years ago. Have been back here a few years now, but didn't want to go in there for fear that it would have been completely changed. Always one of my favorite Hangout. I was so glad to see that it was still the same and that nothing has changed. Great staff, great food
This place was so much fun and they serve food until 1:30am! Great staff, nice atmosphere if you want something kind of divey but not grungy. Food was perfect for late night drunken eats. Definitely recommend going here if it's late and you're hungry!
I’ve been to many restaurants in my life. Probably in the thousands. I’ve had thousands of servers.Tonight, I experienced a level of service that I didn’t think possible.Eleonore, the fantastic red headed server, not only served my table but she served my heart. I’d come back The Quaff a hundred times just to see her smile. Hiring Eleonore was the best thing The Quaff could have done for their business. I met her on her third day serving EVER, and it’s like she’s been doing it for years. That girl is something else, a real class act! I’m so happy I stopped into The Quaff tonight.
The customer was very friendly and attentive. It had a good atmosphere and lots of food selection. We just went there for the drinks, but we had a really good time watching the Royals play the Yankees. The Dunkel is a MUST when you are in KC!! I'm obsessed with this local treat. It was our first time there, but hopefully not the last!
GREAT $5 Margarita on Monday night, great cobb salad and loaded taters appetizer. Waitress was a little confused (twice) about putting blue cheese crumbles on the side and not giving blue cheese dressing on the side..?
We found Quaff Bar & Grill quite by accident during a trip to Kansas City. Quaff Bar & Grill is a great restaurant, excellent service with great drinks and food. They have regular specials, our visit was on a Wednesday night, and it was the weekly Steak Night. BAD! Really bad. I agree with others, this is a really sketchy place. Not because booths are ripped, floor is sticky, and bathroom disgusting, but the employees are always eyeballing you and a feeling of being rushed.Bar food AT BEST but again, rude employees and a disgusting bathroom. You've been warned. - Multiple times on here.
Great staff! The bartenders and service staff are so friendly and awesome. Everyone there is a friend. The food is quite great for being a bar. Wings are delicious and pizza is really good. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. A great local establishment that has been in KC for years!
Picture an old school dive bar that has been here for years. Limited beer selection but liquor to go makes up for it. Keep your expectations low and you will love it.
Ate one of the best burgers I've ever had. I ordered the Killer B Bomb and it was delicious! The potato scoops (instead of fries) were very well seasoned and a great compliment to the burger.
