Fast and friendly service. Great food! We especially loved the breakfast sandwich and chocolate pancakes. Will definitely be back!
Saved my life! Was at a local conference where the food was not good. Found Protein House nearby and thoroughly pleased with quality of food especially the Salmon burger. They also will custom whatever you order in case you are picky!
I enjoy the drinks, I ordered the Dark Baby (beets, carrots, orange). My Mom likes the Tropical Tease (coconut milk, pineapple, banana, vanilla whey, and yogurt). I ate the Cajun BBQ bowl with white rice, it didn’t contain enough vegetables, the sauce was too spicy for me, and too much chicken. It would have been better if there was more vegetables and less meat. My Mom ordered the Shrdd salad no egg, she agreed that her meal had too much meat. The food was okay, not sure I will eat here again. I guess I know why it’s call “Protein House”, a lot of protein, not so much vegetables.
Not sure what’s causing the lack of disconnect. Worker handed me a shake that wasn’t mine. Explained I didn’t order it, and it was handed to the correct customer. The customer then had to walk back up and return it because it was the wrong flavor ordered. I should have taken this as a clue they were struggling. Unfortunately when she read back my order to me and handed me my food in a to-go bag, I didn’t open it up and check it. When I got home I learned they gave me a salmon, when I ordered a teriyaki chicken bowl. Note this was during a non peak time. There were literally 3 other people in the restaurant, so partially shocked they couldn’t seem to get orders accurate. Everyone waiting for their food had receipts and table numbers to distinguish them so either the kitchen is screwing it up by incorrectly making it, or they are just randomly handing out food and being lackadaisical in who receives it.
On a recent visit to the KC area, a friend & I had a "wonderful" sit-down early supper at this location. We appreciated the ease in ordering & the overall cleanliness of the entire environment. We ordered a reasonably priced "bison" wrap & bowl & both were appealing to the eye, were plentiful & VERY DELICIOUS!! We purposely chose this location & were not disappointed in doing so!!! THANK YOU!!!
Came by as this was close to my hotel, and had a lot of vegetarian options for me. Got the plant power bowl which had a great mix of tofu, veggies, flavor. Definitely would come here again and also want to try out their protein shakes after a work out!
We saw the place as we walked around the night before, and decided we had to come back for pancakes for breakfast. My wife ordered the PB&J pancakes and loved them, and I ordered the Chocolate Monster pancakes, which were very good, but unfortunately the cook forgot the chocolate chips in them, which I didn't realize until I looked over the menu again. They were good as they were, but I'm sure they are better with the chocolate chips. Lots of really good menu choices. We'll be back.
I happened to be in town visiting for work and came across this restaurant and would absolutely return !! The food was amazing, so much flavor !! The portion size was great. The ladies taking my order were so patient and provided amazing customer service !!
