We came here for dinner on a very hot July night. We were seated quickly and the service was good all night. We had drinks and edamame followed by lots of rolls. All were good and the Snow Fire roll’s presentation is not to be missed. I hope to return to Prime Sushi again.

Prime Sushi was a fun sushi place to try. They had a lot of rolls to choose from and combo specials that were convenient. The salmon nigiri and basic salmon roll were delicious. The Chiefs roll was a bit disappointing. Tasted like a spicy crab roll with too much sriracha on it. The toro nigiri wasn’t great. It was very chewy and didn’t seem as good of quality as we’ve had from some other places (especially for the expensive price point). However, they have an extensive menu and we will definitely be back to try more rolls!

Absolute favorite sushi place in KC. I could eat here every day. The rolls are a generous size and the wait staff are so kind. Not always the fastest, but that's because they're really busy. That's a good sign! This place is really popular because it's so so good. Definitely recommend making reservations on weekend evenings. 10/10 ♥️

My favorite sushi place! The Orange Flower my absolute must have every visit. The staff and facility have always been good for us. Parking can be challenging during peak hours but it isn't keeping us from visiting.

Prime Sushi is the best sushi spot in Kansas City, it’s my favorite hands down. The food is always fast, staff is really friendly, the ingredients are high quality and always fresh. 10/10. The garlic butter edamame is delicious and comes in a really big serving size. The crab cakes are bite sized and honestly some of my favorite crab cakes in the city. This place is so good

I’m not big on 5 star reviews unless it’s exceptional. That said, this restaurant does have good food. Everything tasted fresh and the variety of rolls is almost too much. In fact, I think they could probably cut down on the menu. There were so many items that are so similar. As with many sushi places like this, after you pile on the ingredients, all of the rolls begin to taste the same.My picture shows quite a few rolls. We just picked them randomly. The only roll that I gave a big thumbs down to is the Love Love roll. That one is wrapped in Tuna with Avacado inside. The avacado seemed like it was frozen and very cold and not ripe. The flaming roll was fun. It had a nice smoky flavor to it. I have no idea what the neon pink sauce is on top of those rolls. To me, it looked unappealing to me because no food is supposed to be that color. The Eel sauce was too thick and was super sweet. I scraped away part of it and the roll tasted better with less of it.What I look for in places like this, is friendly service and a good atmosphere. This place has that. Our wait staff was very friendly and offered great recommendations and that’s why I give them 4 stars. The food? Not bad, not great. If I could give a 3.5 * review, that’s what I’d have given them. This was my second time here and it was a good experience both times.

This spot is amazing! The sushi is on point, their drinks were really tasty and Judy our server is the best!!The joy pear and the mai Thai need to be on your drink order.Definitely going on our list for return trips to KC!

Sushi was fresh and delicious. We order the typical California roll, Crab roll, Chiefs roll, and Tuna roll (not pictured). The Geisha drink was pretty good. Our server was nice but she kept disappearing on us. We first sat down and received water pretty quickly. Asked for a drink menu and she was gone so long we had to ask another server if they could track her down. Each time she would come over and bring us something, she was slow to return. Overall the sushi was good and we will be back.

Eating here made us ill. One of the sushi rolls smelled very bad and was clearly made from old fish. cocktail ordered from the "Full Bar" was vile.

Great lunch sushi options. Beef bibimbap was delicious and a good deal.
