Great food, awesome people. we had 5 different things and it just got better with each item. Very Yummy
Food was great and service was also great
Loved the quaint atmosphere, the server, and the food! I thought the prices were reasonable. It was a great dining experience from the moment we walked in and were greeted with big smiles and friendly banter to the moment we left with our goody bags. Parking is limited so be prepared for enough time to park. The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars is because the menu was written on a huge blackboard in the dining area and the lighting was a little low, making it difficult to read.
Overall we had a decent to nice experience. The food and cocktails were good, but the service at times seemed like we inconvenienced them for being there. The pot pies were well prepared as well as the Confit Chicken Cassoulet. Seating is limited and the space to wait for a table is tight so plan ahead and make a reservation.
Fantastic, cozy, quaint like tavern and restaraunt. Food was amazing. A decent sized appetizer and entree country, french food selection. Fresh food and grear service. Some of the best, fresh, heart good I have had in KC. The pot pie recipe is perfectly seasoned.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. Extremley cosy. When the restaurant fills up it has a great tavern feel to it. It can get a little cold when the door opens but not really a major issue. The food was great and really enjoyed the butcher board and I think that was the largest pot pie i have ever seen. I really like their motto that this is not fast food but good food.
Lived up to it's reputation, cozy date night for my wife and I. The place was packed but the staff made us feel welcome like family. Delicious food and drinks. Highly recommend.
I love this place for great food, drinks, and amazing service. The staff is very friendly, restaurant is small and cozy so make sure you have reservations. The name sake pot pies are a must try, but plenty of other good menu items.
PotPie is a Kansas City staple. My friend and I had here last weekend and it was fantastic. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. The scallops with blueberry sauce were the best scallops I've ever had, and the potpie was hearty with lots of flavor. The wine was great too!
A wonderful place! Very busy, even on a Thursday night. We didn't have reservations which is a must here, but snuck into the only bar table there was. This is a place you can plan to be at all night, so sit back and enjoy! Drinks were fun and good! Goat cheese salad was amazing- goat cheese was hot and spread atop french bread. Pot pie could use a little salt + pepper, but the crust was so flaky good and the insides were steaming hot! Just what was needed on a cold night. Short rib was perfect, as were the root veggies that came with. Ended the evening with chocolate chip bread pudding- you have to have it!
