The waitress was nice, but the people working in the kitchen spend a lot of time complaining about life in general. Lots of F bombs and S words. And the customers are sitting right there listening. The ribs were tasty but small, the coleslaw was awful, and the single corn muffin was the size of a golf ball. Next time, I'll just get something at Starbucks.

We were here twice and the customer service was extremely rude both times. We tried to eat when they were supposed to open and were told they weren’t open and they had no idea when they would be open. We assumed that they were short staffed with covid and moved on.On our connecting flight back we tried to eat at 5pm and were haggled when we tried to use the QR code. “That won’t work don’t use that it’s not setup”. Okay then we can order normally. Again we were treated with complete disrespect as the waitress came to our table 3 times within two minutes. We obviously weren’t ready. When we told her we weren’t ready she shook her head and left. That was it for us and we left.To add to the terrible service this place had bbq sauce all over their menus and the tables had crumbs on them.

Had the brisket sandwich which was a very fair portion for the price. More than the food, our service was fantastic! One lady was the hostess, server and cashier. Dealing with obvious COVID stressors, she handled everything with a smile and a polite attitude. My hat is off to the sweet lady who greeted us, cleaned our table, took our order, delivered our food, checked on us and sent us on our way timely. And I didn't see anyone "wanting" for anything. Thank you!

Smoked chicken was dry and burnt. This place has really gone downhill. Do not recommend.

This was a decent place to grab a bite. The food was good and so was the service, though they seemed understaffed. I had the smoked turkey sandwich with fries and the price was decent for the amount of food. The hardest thing is trying to find the place with the funky way the KC airport is laid out. Weirdest airport I have ever been to, and I have been to A LOT of them lol.

I can not remember ever being so poorly treated at a restaurant. I was grabbing lunch during a layover, dining alone. I paid my bill and was finishing off the tea I was drinking. A server (not mine), came by while I was sitting there, wiped down the table (totally fine), then dropped 2 menus on the table and said she was sending people over to sit at the table. I just paid $22 for a salad and tea, left a 20% tip, and you're not going to give me 5 min to finish my tea? Also, there were 3 other tables by me, nursing their drinks, long finished with their meals, and weren't laying down their cards because they wanted to sit longer. I was a server for 7 years, I have a lot of respect to wait staff. I don't know if it was because I was dining alone, female, not-white, or what, but seriously, hands down, worst service ever.

Best option here at this small airport. Great food and beer options. I enjoyed the sliced turkey sliders and a beer. Check it out.

Staff with the exception of the bartender so incredibly rude, and this seems super hygienic.

I came here for dinner recently. The server (Kaden) was very friendly and proactive. In terms of food, I tried their Smoked Beef Brisket BBQ. There was a nice slice of brisket that went really well with the sauce. The bread, coleslaw, and fries were decent as well. Overall, it was a bit pricey but pretty good food at the airport.

Service was good and the food was fine. As is the case with most airports, WAY overpriced and small quantities for what you pay for. I had a paprika infused turkey sandwich and fries. The airport is under construction to add to the discomfort of flying under pandemic mandated restrictions.
