Let me start by saying I have never written a negative Google review before. I know it's more common for people to share bad experiences than good, and I don't like to participate in that sort of thing. Can't help myself on this one. My wife and I joined our usual Tuesday group last night for a run followed by pizza at this establishment. After finishing our run, we were among the first to order our food, as the others trickled in behind us. Approximately 20 minutes after we ordered, one of the servers told us, due to the size of our group, it might take up to 30 minutes for all of the pizza to arrive. No big deal. Over the next 45 minutes, everyone else in our group received their pizza, ate their fill, and had their left-overs boxed up and ready to go. My wife and I still had no pizza. During this time, I approached one of the servers and told her we had been forgotten. She told me that wasn't the case. She said she was fully aware of our order and it was "coming" soon. Another 15 minutes after that, she told me they were just pulling it out of the oven. 10 minutes later, my wife sought out the manager, Jacob, and asked him what was taking so long. He flippantly told her they could not be expected to complete an order for a group our size without delays. Mind you, this was well over an hour after we had ordered our food. It's also worth noting that easily a dozen other customers had arrived in the meantime and all had been served their food. What irritates me the most about all of this is being lied to repeatedly. Things get forgotten. Just own it, apologize, and work toward fixing it. It's clear the staff here doesn't understand or possess any customer service skills. Since you are prodded to provide a tip prior to the arrival of your order, I guess they don't need any. We did eventually get the pizza, and most of our group was kind enough to sit around and wait for us to eat. How was it? Glad you ask. The most charitable answer I can provide is "meh." Although the portions were generous, the flavor was so bland it's hard to describe. I'll put it this way: I can't recall ever having worse pizza. I can even steer you toward several frozen pizza options that are superior. After all of this, you might wonder why I didn't go with a single star for this review. That's simple. No matter the forum, I reserve the lowest possible score for the worst possible experience. The beer was cold, the pours were full, and neither I nor my wife have come down with food poisoning, so it could have been worse.

Stopped at this place based on the review rating. Normally this gives you an pretty good idea what your getting into. I get it, people's taste are different, and like different things but, there can be no arguments on this is NOT the best pizza in Kansas City. Not bad, not great, just average. This is an average pizza at best. What is special about it? Crust? Not really thin crust, you want that, get the keto cauliflower crust. Red sauce? Bland. Not sweet or zesty, almost generic store bought. The cheese is good, like it should be. Toppings? Really nothing to right home about. Nothing to make you say WOW. Maybe the sandwiches are what makes the hype of this place? I'm not sure, but iny opinion, the pizza is average as average gets.

I had the salad and my wife had a slice of pizza and both were pretty good. The employees were very friendly. The outdoor patio will catch the afternoon shade for outdoor seating.

Pretty good pizza. Not head-spinning, but certainly worth the price. Friendly staff, and they have somewhat reasonable prices. It really probably would have been close to 4 stars but the very thin paper plates with the ruffles around the edges just took it down a notch. Just buy some regular steel plates or something. The inside needs a little sprucing up but the garden, outside the garage doors, is nice.

A “slice” is the size of a full pizza and it is delicious. Wife and daughter had the gluten free crust and they were blown away. Will certainly come back when in town.

Had a very good sausage and pepperoni pizza and garlic cheese sticks. A safe bet when you were looking for a traditional, non-corporate pizza.

The pizza was great. We got the cow town pizza. We also sat in a tiny compact booth! It did have a sign matching the rest of the restaurants decor and I appreciate the humor. They got 3 stars because the atmosphere was weird and listening to the employees bicker with each other wasn’t what I wanted to listen to while eating dinner. They also have a 1 free refill rule. I’m thirsty! The metal stand they served our pizza on was also dirty when they put it on our table. I’ll probably order from here again but it will be to go.

Pizza 51 is a decent pizza place it's themed similar to a diner on a famous highway in the U.S.A. the pizza is New York style thing crust pizza, pizza was cooked well not floppy but not too crispy and the topping were generous. One downside and a star off is the staff, the teenagers were arguing with what I'm assuming was the manager. Another issue is the stand the pizza came on was kind of dirty and had sauce on it. Bottom line I would get pizza here again but probably order ahead of time and to go.

Fantastic place - one of my all time favorite pizzas, and I've eaten pizza all across the USA! Kind of like a NY style because of the slice size, but not the same taste, and each slice is cut into squares. I can't describe it in any style except unique. Their shaded patio is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy eating.

I received a whole burnt pizza. All I could taste was the burntness from the bottom and the crust was all burnt up. $16 down the drain. The pizza does not look like the pictures they have online. I don’t no any pizza place that would even allow their employees to box this up. Two thumbs down
