Terrible service. I waited 45 minutes in line to be told they were only working on catering orders in the back and they were not making food for the line. The employees stated I either had to wait until they made more food or leave. He then stated this to everyone entering the establishment. Worst experience I have ever had. The owner yell and told me either “act right or leave” followed by a lot of other outlandish remarks when asked about a wait time. I was a frequent customer until today. I do not recommend.

Always sort reviews by newest first. The pandemic has done wild things to restaurants. Peach Cafeteria kinda sucks. Sorry, no one wanted a delicious and cultured soul food experience more than I did. I would have settled for not bad. Nothing stinks more than a business that going through the motions and this place comes close. The place is shut down for table seating, there’s no indication of that on the website or on the outside of the building. You go in and there’s four very sorry unlit steamtables with baked chicken fried, chicken baked, “barbecued” ribs, baked fish. Paper thin fish, Tiny chicken drumsticks, ribs cooked so long in full strength barbecue sauce that it’s falling off the bone. Stale fried okra, out of the box smooth mashed potatoes…. The stuff is not exactly appetizing. It’s edible, it’s not bad. The experience is awful we stood there for at least 20 minutes because it took the girls serving sides literally 20 minutes to serve up two sides for four diners ahead of us. It’s all swapped into a sorry phone box and you need to get out. If the food were fantastic it would be worth it but it’s just a level below what’s available at a hospital cafeteria. It would help if the people were friendly and enthusiastic but they are just going through the motions.

Everything I had was delicious. I even took a couple of to go order back home to Omaha with me

Can’t go here anymore. Girl in the front has the worse attitude. She had baby hair and thick king fake eyelashes. Older man serving the food kept stopping to talk to another worker who wasn’t on the clock. Then he gave half of a spoon for every side. Chicken was dry. I waited for Mac & choose. It came out and I was already at the register to pay. So they added it to my plate. Got to the car, it looked nasty and watery. I tried it, I didn’t like it. So I went back and asked to replace it. The young woman at the register had a horrible attitude. Told me “it just came out, it needs to settle” ma’am I’m going to eat this now, I would rather have another side. She rolled her eyes, and shook her head with an attitude and threw the Mac and cheese away. She was extremely rude. Corn break tasted different. I tried giving ya another chance but it’s a no from now on. This place used to be the best. Idk if it’s the cooks, or front staff. Need to make changes

Traveled down from Omaha and did not know they had closed the buffet. It does not state this information on there website so we were a little disappointed ☹️. You also have to pay for refills.. I guess. My hubby drank his lemonade before he finished his meal and wasn't even offered water. But the food was alright so try it if you get a chance.

Unfortunately, I have to give this restaurant 2 stars instead of 5. While food was delicious, the customer service was TRASH. The young lady at the register attitude was piss poor. I suggest additional customer service training.. The moment my co-workers and I entered the establishment, she was rude. Anyways, I’m from the south (Atlanta) and was craving some soul food. I had the veggie slim plate (collard greens, mac-n-cheese, yams & cornbread). FIVE stars to the food, but I’m indecisive about returning. Hopes this helps!

Someone bought me some food from this location I got food contamination poison out of this restaurant advised the owners to clean the grease to keep all the grease from separating from one to the other if it’s fish cook it with the fish grease if it’s chicken cook it with the chicken grease and just clean your grease clean your utensils this place was horrible. You got to do better because a lot of people cannot deal with food contamination cross utensils in food you guys got a clean your restaurant

This was southern cafeteria style and because we went on Sunday they charged an extra $2 per plate. When asked why the up charge They figured it was because it was busier. It took 35min to get through the line to choose your food. I got the smothered pork chops cornbread dressing green beans and carrots with peach cobbler my daughter got fried chicken mashed potatoes and gravy and Mac and cheese. You could tell everything was homemade it was delicious great flavoring. The only downside was by the time you got your tray @10 min your food was cold. The standouts to us were the Mac and cheese was phenomenal and the cornbread dressing was awesome. It did cost $2 for drinks and they do not have to go cups. So the total cost for lunch was $37 for 2 people. That's a little steep for the average family. Good eats but I could not afford to come here often.

Did not meet expectations. Google has the wrong menu. The cafe apparently no longer exists and is just the cafeteria which has a very different menu and appeal. Stayed to try the food because I was hungry but left severely disappointed. The atmosphere was dark and cavernous. The staff wasn't unfriendly but that's as nice as I can put it. The food was meh but no better than golden coral and probably more expensive.

This place just isn't the same. It's not as a result of Covid, it's the lack of availability of simple items like straws and salt and the smaller portion sizes and higher pricing for considerably less quantities of food and drinks & desserts are an upcharge and there are no 2nds of that crispy fried chicken. 1 meat =1 piece. We probably won't return based on the new business model. We did like that servers were there to plate the food but the quantity for the price plus an additional $2 on Sundays is a nonstarter for us. $5 for a couple of tablespoons of cobbler is highway robbery. Why raise prices and give patrons less food? We noticed. The containers for the side dishes reminded us of a grade school cafeteria condiment cup; The size we used to put ketchup in to dip our fries. It was not worth the drive nor the money. Plan on spending $25 minimum per person. We sure hate that because this used to be our go-to after Church but nope. The tradition is over. Good luck.
