??? Don’t dare spend your money here!!! The food was disgusting. Feel free to zoom in on the pictures to see the old gummy corn and the hard cabbage core that nearly broke my teeth. The cabbage was nothing but core! The cornbread was a shriveled up and burnt. And, the customer service is just as bad as the food. NASTY BLAND TASTELESS FOOD that’s obviously been sitting up in pots cooked for weeks. Save your money! DON’T DO IT!!!
First time visiting, Food was absolutely DELICIOUS, Customer Service wasn’t very good for what you pay for…We came in on Friday 4/29/22 at 7:07pm the website and door both said they closed at 7:30pm, the cashier man was very very rude and unpleasant, the ladies who fixed the food were very sweet, pleasant and professional. The Customer Service needs to match the Food and be just as Great!
This is the only picture I will be adding because I won't return. I love the music they play in the restaurant. But the food was terrible. Kansas City MO need to visit Chicago and see how it's done. Because all the good reviews are clearly stating, there is no good food in town. And this is the best they can get. I ordered baked chicken. Under cooked, dry, and bland. The Peach cobbler was to sweet and the crust was powdery and nasty. I regret I left a tip. Food wasn't hot. I love supporting black businesses. But I shall never return to the peach tree. THE FOOD WAS NASTY. Rude young lady serving. My son asked the young lady working there to replace a burned piece of CORNBREAD with a piece that was not burned. Instead of her removing the piece he didn't want she left it on his plate and charged $1.00 for an extra piece. EXACTLY why black businesses go under. WE NEED TO DO BETTER BLACK PEOPLE.
Fish was good greens was bland with no meat and could’ve cooked a lil bit longer mashed potatoes was instant gravy had no taste. Gumbo had no seasoning I was very dissatisfied
I have always heard about this place but have never had the opportunity to try it until today! Let me tell you that the YAMS are LEGIT! Yes everything else was great and delicious but those yams! Nice and sweet! The service is quick and the menu was very easy to read. I will definitely recommend anyone to go there because I know for a fact I will be back!
Looks good rightThe cabbage is seasoned with water, at least that's how it tastes. Mashed potatoes are from a package (or taste powdery). The sweet potatoes are just cute for no reason. I'm so irritated, cause I was soooo hungry

The service was awesome and friendly. I decided to try one of the specials, and man, did I pick the wrong choice. I chose the salmon croquet with two sides. The croquet was not out front, and the young lady told me it would be 10 minutes to have ready. I'm thinking wow, fresh made croquet. I was so wrong. These tasted old and like they had been frozen. They even smelled bad. I also had cabbage and Mac n cheese as my sides. The Mac n cheese was perfect, but the cabbage was gritty as if it had not been washed. Talking about disappointment. I had been looking forward to having some fresh home cooking, but I guess I chose the wrong g place on the wrong day. I should of just got the chicken.
