A little too loud or music. Super small drink menu. It's two choices for beer: either light or dark beer (no name brands available). Service was good, but I was a little taken aback by being carded before entering despite clearly being over 21. Their policies during covid with mandating to show your vax card before entry is just ridiculous.
Stumbled upon this bar last night and we were pleasantly surprised by how first off they let Active Duty military in free and second how nice the bar was! The only part we didn’t like was how hot is was downstairs. The only reason I couldn’t give it another star. It wasn’t packed but it was still super hot. Turn on the AC!
This is a great place for drinks and live music. I would describe it as an "alternative speakeasy" meaning the majority of the clientele is hypster and the band playing when we were there was a bluegrass/old country.Things to know:The drink menu is small and straightforward. 2 beers: light and dark2 wines white and red, and pre-made cocktails but the whiskey sour was really good and the dark beer was a solid brown ale.The room is big and perfect for large groups. The music was to too loud. The wait staff was a little slow or there was not enough of them to get around fast enough.
Fantastic atmosphere with great drinks and bar food. Grand Marquis was incredible with a great sound. The mustard wings were ?, our server was (Keyoka) was great!! Everyone seems to be happy working there. We will back for sure, can’t believe it took us this long!!!
Greasy low ponytail bartender on a power trip at the entrance bar is not doing this place any favors. He is not only terrible at his job but rude too :) Ignored our group for 20 minutes as we sat at his not busy bar, he finally comes up to us I ask one question on menu.. he gives a one word reply then immediately walks away to complete other side of bar without taking our order. If you are going to be on a power trip please at least be good at your job.. which includes addressing patrons at your bar in the order they arrive, going at a decent pace in making drinks and not being a miserable human being when someone has one menu question after sitting and waiting on you for 20 minutes for a drink at your not busy bar. Thanks.

My only complaint is that the music was a little too loud. Other than that I had a fantastic experience. The service was exceptional. Our waitress, Chandler, was awesome. Whenever we were ready for another drink she was there to take an order. When we ordered drinks we got them within 5 min. The atmosphere was fantastic.
This place is amazing!!! Roxzanne the Bartender told me to check it out and it did not disappoint. I can't put into words how cool the environment is. Get. There. Now.
Saw some great DJs last night! Such a cool atmosphere with friendly bartenders! I'll definitely be back soon! What a hidden gem!
It’s a very cool and unique bar for Kansas City. The service was on point. All the decor and the lighting was great. Even for a large venue, it feels cozy. Would have given 5 stars except the music was too loud and too fast for the atmosphere in there.
