Don't judge a book by its cover. This little family- owned restaurant always hits. Limited seating though so prepare accordingly. My perfect meal is a Vietnamese drip coffee, crab rangoons or some magic mushrooms, the salad with house dressing (they sell it btw), miso soup, and two sushi rolls.... never the same each time because I need to try them all eventually.
This is damn good sushi in an unassuming location. There might be some stigma with "strip mall sushi", but Mr. Le's is doing it right. We have been several times and will continue for the foreseeable future. If you want great sushi, this is your spot. If you are looking for a posh dining experience with prices to match, keep searching. Food is Great and Prices are fair. Bring friends and enjoy!!
I've been traveling to KC for business for about 7 years and I finally got to try Mr Let's Sushi. Can't believe I waited this long to try it!! I was not disappointed in any way. The sushi was fresh and tasted amazing and the onion soup was like no other I've ever had! Service was great and the staff was very helpful to this first time customer! Can't wait to come back!

My first time eating here, and it was fantastic. Sushi was very good and very fresh. The rice was cooked perfectly and the fish was of good quality. My girlfriend got the Miso soup and she liked it. If you're looking for sushi and the KC area, and you want a plain local establishment. Definitely recommend
For avid sushi consumers, I would not recommend this place. It's nothing short of gas station sushi. I ordered 2 sushi rolls to go for lunch. Princess Diana roll and Chris roll. $28 later, the rolls were just OK. Skinny, dry, expensive rolls with no flavor. No sauce, nothing to add flavor to really bland rolls. I never eat the ginger, but this time, it was the only flavor I could get. Like I said, they were just OK. Nothing to boast about and no reason to go back. I knew better than to hit up a Vietnamese restaurant for quality sushi, but there are limited choices in the area.
Looks can be deceiving! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the sushi is amazing!Everything was fresh and flavorful. They also offer many specialty rolls that I haven't seen at other restaurants.I would highly recommend.
If I could give this place 6 stars I would. The food was delicious and the people were friendly.
