Friendly staff and delicious lunch!
This is a very nice coffee shop with lots of indoor seating. The floor is concrete and the seating is varied. There are a lot of tables for 4, a table for 6, two couches, a 4 soft chair area in front of the fire place and 2 long bar areas including one along a window. My mocha was average, but not bad. They roast their own beans. I read in a review how good the biscuits and gravy are, but they were out when I went. That means I need to go back. ? They make their pastries in house so I decided to try their brown sugar poptart. It was very flaky and sweet. I went on a late Thursday morning and they had a pretty steady stream of customers for that time of day. I hope they continue to do well.
This was a bigger coffee shop than it looked online. The barista was friendly and answered our questions about a few items. I ordered a small americano expecting an 8 oz cup. My wife ordered a 12 oz mocha and they both came in the same size cup. So I guess the small is a 12 oz, don't know what size the medium or large is. The americano was watered down compared to other shops. The seating was plentiful with a mix of couches, soft chairs, and table choices.
Very cute coffee place with all compostable to go products. Large indoor seating & good outdoor seating options. Their latte tasted smooth & their everything breakfast sandwich was phenomenal. If you’re in the Hyde Park area, check it out!
Great coffee & food. Always great & friendly service with plenty of well appointed space on the inside. We love this place and I love the building.
Cheaper and tastier then Starbucks! I love the matcha latte, which isn’t overly sweetened. The grilled cheese is the best I’ve ever had. Plus a great atmosphere!
Great hospitality (trust me - it makes a difference), nice atmosphere, and good tasting organic coffee.Would I recomended to a friend? Yes.
Overall I have a great visit at Mother Earth Coffee Hyde Park! It just sometimes depending on worker it can get a little unprofessional.. But things that I have tried were great especially the Biscuits & Gravy! (My all time favorite and recommendation) ???️?
Wow. Great study space (reliable wifi/mix of types of seating/lighting) Ample choices for drink and food. What I mean by that is there are more than just snack things there- so if you are there for a few hours, you are good! Vegan options too!! (EXTRA BONUS) All around one of my favorite spaces in Kansas City.Not to mention, they have plants ? good vibes- ooh and the music hasn’t ever been too loud or poor taste when Ive gone ??♀️??BONUS - they have rewards too— can never go wrong there!
