This place is Nashville chicken heaven! ? perfect chicken and delicious ingredients make this spot can't miss. I ordered the What the Cluck style (their spiciest) and I was not disappointed ? thanks for the memory
Updated Review: Was 4 stars, now 3.Three for it being better than most hot chicken places in Kansas City -- not that there's much variety anyway, but compared to hot chicken anywhere else it's simply not that great. I ordered the two tender combo with a side of cluck sauce at 'Medium' heat. Seasoning was good, heat intensity wasn't too bad and the food was ready at my scheduled pick-up time. The chicken inside the tender has been pretty dry both times I've ordered. Fries have been overcooked and a little too crunchy both instances I've ordered as well. Overall it's a decent hot chicken spot for Kansas City, unfortunately if you want something good you’ll have to travel outside of the city. Can't wait for Dave's Hot Chicken franchises to start showing up around here. Probably won't be back.
Feel the burn. Nose drippin, tongue tickling, brow dripping good time. Chicken was so juicy, crispy, tender, fall apart good. My stomach is filled with happiness.
Literally every other time I been here has been great. Ordered online and went to get my order after 7:30 on 2/6/22. Chicken sandwich got refunded, ordered another order of tenders to replace it. The 3 teenagers working back there decided to openly mock me after I asked for the other order of tenders and complain that they were for free. They were not free, considering my girlfriend paid for them. I’ve worked in service, if you’re going to crack jokes about customers, at least do it quietly to where I can’t tell you are complaining about me. You’re welcome for both tips we left buddy.
Chicken strips were large and generally average. Ranch dressing was poor
I had the chicken strips and fries. The breading had no taste or flavor but the chicken was juicy and warm. The crinkle cit fries were amazing with their own seasoning. I wasnt a fan of the clucker sauce but that is only my opinion. I had take out, so unknown about the customer service. Too expensive for the quality.
The chicken itself was wonderful the french fries were too salty but they were good and the pickle fries were strange. Very little pickle and a whole lot of breading
I absolutely LOVE the chicken here! I'm a big fan of Spicy Food and they do not disappoint. The chicken is nice and juicy and has a mix of seasoning and sauce on the breading. I like to get CLUCK YEAH, MOTHER CLUCKER, or WHAT THE CLUCK seasoning depending on my mood. If you love spicy fried chicken you can't go wrong with their sandwich or their chicken strips.
This place is amazing! I came to eat here for Sunday funday a couple sundays ago. The woman that was working was very honest about the food because it was my first time trying the food. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back.
During this evening's visit I had the chicken sandwich with the kick it up sauce and crinkle fries. The sandwich is huge and the portion of fries also huge. There are six levels of spicy sauce, I chose the third level "kick it up", and I would have to say that the amount of spice for the level 3 of 6 was pretty hot. Halfway through the sandwich I was sweating and my mouth was ablaze. I'm no lightweight when it comes to spice and I can't imagine what levels four through six are like. I'm pretty sure that if you chose level six you would perish in a pile of ashes. Everything was extremely tasty and well cooked however I'm leaving four stars for these reasons. The sandwich is extremely messy to eat and self-destructs about halfway through. There is so much going on with the spicy sauce the juice from the sauerkraut and pickles that the bun just can't maintain the integrity to hold itself together. Joshua and the level of spice is quite deceiving, level one is no spice, level two says some spice and level three says kick it up. So maybe it's only a level two spice since level one is plain.
