$20 to get in girl at front taking cover fees is literally the biggest b****. I would never come back here. PBR big sky the bouncers and bartenders were super friendly. Better atmosphere all around. I wouldn’t recommend Mosaic to anyone.
Low ratings makes sense! Don't get decieved by the photos (it's small inside). I can only give 2 stars, 1 for the friendly bartenders and 1 for the music. This place is overpriced. $20? Can't even find a warm place to sit down or a table or some hooks at least to put our coats. Also, one of their tiny tables/seats is $300?. It also get super duper crowded (Can't move). They should have a limit on how much people can only fit inside (If you care about your customer's satisfaction) and rules!! GOD! NO DRINKS on the dance floor! But I can't blame the customers coz there's no place to put their drinks. People with their drinks kept spilling it on us. Overall, we only stayed for 2 hrs and left unsatisfied. We'll never come back here!
Came in from out of town this past weekend with some friends after attending our business conference. While the music and ambience was great, the staff completely disgusted me. To put it lightly, I will never step foot in this establishment again. It is quite obvious the staff members manning the bars were hired for the position based on looks - rather than integrity and experience. I never expected to experience bartenders so absurdly intoxicated on the clock. I don’t know if it had to do with their alcohol consumption or pure intentional theft, but do not bother tipping a single one of them if you are paying in cash. I personally witnessed every dollar I gave, and my colleagues gave, go straight into the taller thin brunette’s tip jar behind her. As we were standing in a position where we could see her register - it was clear nothing had ever been rung in in the first place. The male bartender along with the little female with large lips, and the heavier set blonde, were so intoxicated they could not even take our orders or make a proper drink. The male in particular was more interested in taking photos and shots with the female bartenders than fulfilling his duties. Not to mention these staff members were blatantly taking shots they had made for themselves in front of waiting customers. We tried going to multiple other bartenders after first witnessing the brunette’s theft and watched each of those bartenders partake in the same act of theft again and again, until finally leaving the establishment in disgust. I am not sure in what world management would allow or condone any staff member to be so intoxicated in the workplace, and suggest they take a good hard look at where their bartenders’ handling of cash is going - because it certainly is not the business itself.
Bouncers are rude and abuse their power. As they walk around one shoved my girl friend which was totally unnecessary. Won’t be back.
Queer Bar Takeover chooses a traditionally straight bar and takes it over on the second Saturday of each month; this month we went back to our first takeover location, Mosiac! We loved going back to dance the night away among the incredible lights with their amazing DJ! As someone who recently moved to KC from NY, this place is nothing more than an Instagramable patio. Possibly some of the worst staff I've ever seen at a bar.
$10 cover to not be able to sit... don't bother. 10:30 the the staff could care less after you pay.. all seats empty here no tables taken and nobody who paid yo get in can sit. Just no vibe...
If I could give no stars I would. If Jesus himself ascended from heaven for a one night only DJ set, I wouldn’t come this place. This was my first time here as new kc resident having moved here from Los Angeles. A tall overly zealous bald man hovering over the front door was an embarrassment to this establishment. He was so mean to the staff and was yelling at everyone. I felt so bad for everyone that worked there as they appeared so helpless. He personally raised his voice and acted like he owned the place. I will never step foot here EVER, and steer everyone I know away. Clearly this place lacks direction, management and any knowledge of how to run a business. No one should ever be treated the way I saw this man treat people that night. What a shame.

Went to the new opening…if you’re not getting bottle service there is no point. Was not allowed to sit anywhere other than the concrete wall or on the fire pit.
