We brought in a group of 20 people on a Sunday at dinner time and they accommodated us super fast! The waitress (forgot her name but she was very thin with pink hair) was incredible. She never let our cups get empty and single handedly did an amazing job! We had such a great experience. Everyone was kind and helpful. Thank you so much!
I absolutely love Minsky's! It's my favorite pizza in town! They have the best cheeseburger pizza! The prime cut pizza is great too! And the combo pizza is just as good! However, I wasn't as impressed with the chicken sandwich I had today. It needs a little something. But I was offered a free beer today so that made up for it! Henry did a great job!
The management is horrible in this place. I've sat and watched when the place was packed and customers were waiting for their order and instead of the manager bringing the order out to the table he put it in the warmer. They never help their servers run food and expect the customer to wait. I've never saw a restaurant where the managers don't help out. I have been in the food industry for a long time. They don't help their bartenders when they need ice or beer stocked or help clear tables to seat new customers. This place could be so much better if it had better managers that were willing to help their employees. I've been a customer for 20 years and would spend a $140 a month there. Not anymore.
I placed a call-in order for 2 pizza at 4:30 pm to be 'ready for pickup' at 6 pm. I called in because I wanted a substition on 1 pizza which you cannot do online. I was not asked to prepay, if asked I would have. When I arrived at the Leawood location at 129xx block of south Stateline Rd by 5:50pm and pay then. I then proceeded to wait until 6:15 pm to get my order. I complained and asked why with a 1.5 hr heads up on my order it was not even started until I arrived. The person I spike to just said 6 pm is their busy time, so have to expect a wait. That is total and complete crap. They forgot my order, or it would have been either already ready or almost ready when I arrived. Word of warning- you get better service ordering online or in person. Not respected for call in orders and for call in propobBly be c ause you don't prepay, they ignore any timeline request you have no matter how early you call in the order. NEVER going to Minski again for carry out.
Old classic style crust, fresh ingredients an a pleasant blend of cheese. Service was both friendly and accurate. I dined in during a Chiefs game. They were busy but I was greeted and served well through shift change. Nice atmosphere, very clean and good value for the price. I would eat here again.
I really enjoyed this place. I had the Jumbo Co.bo pizza. It was fantastic. Service was great. There were many TVs. I would definitely recommend this place.
So glad we stumbled upon this restaurant ! Not only was the pizza probably one of the best I have ever eaten, but the staff was beyond amazing , and it was super clean and we had the while top level to ourselves! Will definitely be back!
Went yesterday to Minsky’s at River Market with my sister. Had excellent service by Dana. Good wine for me, & good pina colada for my sister. The food was good too. I had the meatball appetizer and they were not spicy meatballs which is great for me and I loved all the melted mozzarella. She had a thin crust, Minsky’s mini Jumbo& and she liked hers too. All in all a great experience on January 21, around 3. I just love the atmosphere at the River Market Minsky’s.
Minsky's is great quality and has delicious combinations that you would not normally try but that are tasty. Love the cheeseburger and BBQ options!
Pizza was so good! Get the cupping pepperoni. Bartender was nice and friendly and made a great Moscow mule. Music was good too!
