This charming little restaurant maybe easily overlooked when passing by, but what cannot be overlooked is how delicious the food is. Not only were the sandwiches fresh and filling, but they were not over priced. Highly recommend. We will be back to try their pizza next time...unless we succumb to lure of those delicious sandwiches.
Meh. The building is very cool. Our waitress was fantastic! The Hot Pastrami & Milwaukee Style Corned Beef Reuben were okay but not anything we would go back for in the future. The cheddar jalapeño brat was good. They only had cottage cheese, cole slaw, chips, and salad for sides when we were there.
This is simply one of my favorite lunch spots in KC. I have liked everything I have ordered, but the pizza is great. The bartenders are awesome and it is in a great location. I will be back soon.
Bottom line: Pizza slices were very good, but be prepared to wait.Visited Friday afternoon and the place was at capacity. After a wait, we were seated. The woman who sat us said she would get us waters. Never saw those. The male waiter then came a bit later and took our order. We ordered our drinks and food at once to save some time. The drinks took quite a while to come. (Draft beer and a lemonaid) Ther server apologized for the delay. Pizza also took quite awile. We just ordered two slices. Again apologies. They are obviously understaffed as a lot of places are. Then they charged another tables food to my card and cancelled, with more apologies. He did comp the drinks on the tab for us, which was nice. Again, pizza was very good.
The pizza was excellent. A huge slice for a reasonable price. I loved the historic building and location.
Exceptional pizza and even better Mediterranean salad along with a friendly staff… it’s great!
Just had a delightful dinner here. Boyfriend and I had amazing sandwiches - the turkey panini and pastrami. The chicken enchilada soup is spicy and creamy and awesome. The old fashioned cocktail comes with a PBR sidecar, only $7. We will definitely be back to try the pizza and drink more beer.Our server was super chill- had great vibes while being attentive but not overbearing.
Great pizza great bartender good beer selection. I had beer waiting in pizza to go for kids Just Pepperoni pizza of course but I had 3 slices when I got to room. Great atmosphere waiting and pizza was great also. Would defiantly go back
Loved it being in downtown. Portions to me were small for the price. I had the hot pastrami and after I ate my meal I was still hungry. Probably would have had to oder 2 meals for myself. My wife had a Ruben she said it was good but she also was hungry after eating. The food was good but just letting you know you may still be hungry after eating a sandwich. They sell pizza by the slice and 3 sizes whole pizza.
We were looking for another KC proud business and this is for sure one to check out. The atmosphere, aesthetic and service here was awesome! Large selection of food and drinks and the place has it’s history shown in the building itself. We were more than impressed with the sandwiches and pizza. Our 4 year old absolutely loved it as well so kid friendly! We were already planning our next visit and what we would get. Highly recommended and will be back for more!
