I came in with my dog to grab a coffee and was very rudely asked to leave. I’m not upset at all that they don’t allow dogs, I do understand. What I don’t understand is treating me disrespectfully. I like the messenger coffee in the crossroads, excellent pastries (although the coffee is definitely overpriced) but at least the staff there is always kind and friendly! I certainly won’t be stopping by this location again.

This is an interesting little coffee shop. They have flavors of coffee I have never experienced before. It also doesn’t have that stiff cooperate feel like other coffee shops. On warm evenings often you will see a ton of cool looking street bikes parked out front. My only knock on this is that it is very hard to find a place to sit as outside and inside seating is exceptionally limited. However, you are on the plaza so stop in, get good coffee, and go shopping.

Coffee was amazing & customer service was exceptional. Barista named Alex was phenomenal and did a great job, even though he was the only one working at the time.

What a fantastic place! The pastries reminded me of Europe! Will be back for sure.

Beautiful rooftop seating. Clean and refreshing environment. Pleasant staff and tasty treats, teas and coffee.

really nice place and cozy very busy... great coffee and pastries

definitely recommend their location on 47th Street!

The staff were very welcoming. Drinks were delicious.

Extremely slow. They take ages to make coffee here… feels like everyone is moving at 20% speed. I waited in line almost 10 minutes… then they were out of cold brew… how is a coffee shop out of cold brew at noon?

After living in, and traveling all over Europe drinking all the best coffees for four years, I had all but given up trying to find a local place that has a halfway decent cappuccino after I moved back to the States. Messenger Coffee CAME THROUGH! This was, hands down, the best cappuccino I've had since moving back to the KC area. I will definitely be coming back for more coffee
