This cozy little shop had the best bagels with quick service. I ordered an everything bagel with everything schmear and dark roast coffee. The cashier was friendly as she took my order. Bagel was served warm with a lot of schmear to satisfy my craving. The coffee was strong and a great taste. I also loved the little shop with it's wooden table and chair aesthetic that's great for a slow morning or meeting a friend. Overall, great place to grab a quick breakfast or satisfy a bagel craving.

I’ve gotten bagels at the Liberty location until it closed. This is my second time visiting the downtown KC location. I think it’s now my favorite. The service is pretty fast. The atmosphere is pretty neat.
After working overnight, all I want is bed and a breakfast-oriented snack. I wasn’t feeling the muffin I brought for days like these. A bagel sounded pretty good though. My weary mind despaired that I would have to drive to 39th but in the wilderness that is Power & Light, the 13th street location called out to me (via GPS). I made my way there and was blessed by the parking gods. I found a spot quickly and near the location. (It was by Cosentinos) The vibe was good. The staff oddly chipper for the early hour. I ordered double schmear, and usually it’s never quite at other bagel shops but this place got it right. As I drove home, I didn’t wait to eat my bagel. Good cream cheese waits no one. It was all I dreamed and more. I pretty sure I shared my cream cheese with my steering wheel, gear shift, and mask but it was worth it. I’m drifting off as we speak and all I can think about is what I’m gonna get next time. I definitely will be visiting again. ?
The bagels were so fresh & the perfect texture. Was visiting from out of town & ended up going two days in a row to different locations. Both locations were super friendly & the staff was great. Also they have bialys which are hard to find.
Every time I'm in Kansas City I have to stop for a fresh bagel. They're everything bagels are incredible
The food here is delicious. Prices are reasonable. The dinning room is very clean and welcoming. But,the young lady named Olivia, behind the counter, needs to work on her people skills. She comes off discriminating (to older folk) and "silently insulting."
Two things to note right away. One. They do not allow dine in as of 02/03/2022 only take away. Two. You must ask for a toasted bagel, which is very normal on the East Coast. Bagels are fresh and tasty with firm exterior and soft pillow like interior. They have a vast and delicious selection of schmears. Definitely worth a stop!
