The guy that works front desk is always rude to me, hopefully he is nicer to others. The food is really good, I was going to boast about their lower then average prices but it has gone up since the last time I've been here. The onion rings and fries are really good I highly recommend them. If you're here for the food and not for the company I'd recommend eating here.

MAX'S BURGERS & GYROS 82040 Wornall Rd Kansas City Mo. This burger joint has been here 36 yearsNew owner took over in 1986. I stopped in and was not disappointed. Only one customer is allowed in at a time. The owner hits a buzzer and lets you in. You place your order and he fixes it and then brings it out to you. He then buzzes in the next customer. This was put in place due to local covid restrictions and lack of help. Currently its a one man show. The owner of this resturant figured out how to adapt and overcome. As I sit here writing this in his parking lot a steady stream of customers are waiting patiently for their turn to go in and place an order for an kickass cheeseburger. MAX'S will get a 5 star from me on Google Maps. #SupportSmallBusiness #supportlocal

My favorite burger in KC. This is a truly underrated gem that is family owned and operated. Max's Burgers & Gyros has a ton of similarities to the cartoon Bob's Burgers the most important of which is they make the best burgers.
I've been going here for a long time, the food is great, and I see the same people that have been running it for years. Best burgers in KC, in my humble opinion.
The food was good but I ended up getting shewed off. I ordered and they brought the food out to me. There is no inside seating which was no problem to me. I sat in my car for about 5 minutes and ate my sandwich. Just as I was about to leave the employee hit on the hood and shewed me back with their hand like I was a fly. There is nothing saying they are just pickup spots. I wasn't there very long and then they were telling me to get lost. I wish they would put up signs saying they are just pickup spots. It was pretty rude to get shewed away when I was only there a few minutes and there are no signs posted
My go to burger spot, they are just wonderful. Best onion rings in Waldo, easily.
No salads, and not cheap, but if you're looking for a gyro sandwich and fries, this is a great choice. Possibly the best tzaziki sauce in town.
I took one bite and had to stop to leave a review. I got the Maxburger, it was phenomenal. Now, back to eating.
