The food was delicious. Hot and fresh! We had the chicken and waffles and it definitely hit. Wish I lived closer to eat here more often.
This was hands down some of the best brunch food I’ve had in KC…or honestly ever. The King sandwich was so delicious ate, I ate it in 10 minutes and I’m not ashamed. If you want to try a new spot in town or are visiting, please stop by!!!
Had the chicken and waffles! It was amazing! Instead of chicken strips it was 4 wings bone in which gave so much more flavor to the dish. The staff is amazing! You will feel like you were invited into their home kitchen for a meal. I will come back when I am in town.
Absolutely loved the southern belle (chicken and waffles). Seasoning on the fried chicken and potatoes was amazing. Cool vibe inside too. Will definitely be back on my next visit to kansas city. Support black-owned businesses!

Chicken was delicious, potatoes was good, and waffle was on point. Just wish I would of ordered that lemon cake. Also, utensils and sauces/syrup were included which is not always the case when you order for delivery so def a plus. Next time I'm in town, this is the first place I will be going to eat. Thank you

The food is great. Let me back that up...the food is wonderful. Placed my first order and when I went to pick it up, the order was not made. The owner ran out of something and I was going to cancel the order, but they delivered it to me so I was more than happy. Second time, placed an order online so i can have breakfast before work, they once again did not see my order and I had to wait until my food was prepared. I was kind of done with the ordering mishap. My coworker ordered food and they were not even open, although the order went through. Like I said the food is so good. I keep wanting it. Once they get the online ordering system together...I'll be back.
