Some of the biggest cockroaches I’ve ever seen. Owner told me every restaurant on their block has them somehow it’s hard to believe definitely won’t be back

We searched for some time for quality Mexican food- this is the best we have found in Kansas City by FAR. The sangria is pretty great too….

Enjoyed the food , their salsa is very good. Great Margaritas!! Service is excellent. Parking wasn't a problem during lunch time.

service was awesome...food was great I will most definitely be back there...

1st visit to this restaurant across from Kaufmann Center. Mexican food was very plentiful, fresh and tasty. Salsa and chips were exceptional. Prices right-in-line with competitors.

Loved the food and service! Always enjoy eating here when we are downtown. I find it hard that there is only one bathroom with one stool for women.

Excellent Mexican Cuisine in the heart of downtown. Each of the menu items are equally delicious. A favorite among the Kaufman Center Volunteers, and local community as well. The tamales are great, tacos, fajitas, you name it, all good choices, and a wide selection.

Great food service was also great. Loved the cheese dip

I cannot recommend this place at all given all the wonderful Mexican joints in KC. We came in with a table of 5 yesterday and they sat us next to the front door. We asked if we could sit in the room away from the front door because it was constantly open with people coming in and it was pretty cold. Prior to seating, the hostess said “I’m sorry but we’ve got two big parties coming in, this is the only space we have.”The two parties were two 8 tops. So they proceeded to sit table after table in the back room after we were seated. Frustrating, but not a deal breaker because I’ve been a server and a host before, I get it.The server brought our app and no plates to share. Didn’t come back to check on us for 10 minutes and by then, the app was finished and the greasy app was all over the table from dripping everywhere. The margaritas here are downright TERRIBLE. $8 for a house margarita that looks like Mountain Dew is a joke. One person at our table said “I can’t stop drinking it because it’s so bad that once I stop, I can taste it and that’s not what I want to do.” It’s straight trash. The food was okay. I got the Birria Quesadilla and it did not come with consome. Whatever, not a big deal I asked for some and it was absolutely flavorlessThe rest of our group was equally unimpressed by their meals. Save your money and pass on this joint.

Food was great. Fish tacos were perfect, and the chili Verde was awesome. Fast service and decently priced near the KC convention center.
