Food was good but service was exceptionally slow. I ordered a salad and hidden at the bottom was a large chuck of the core about 4-5 inches long and 2”x 2”. When I pointed it out to the waitress no sorry or any complimentary items or offers. I still tipped 18% but I will not be going back anytime soon.
Maybe I should give them 5 stars, you judge. Service was EXCELLENT! The food was very enjoyable. However, my Coke was a less fizzy than I expected, the straw didn't float. My steak (which I loved every bite of) was more done on one side than the other. Thebaked potato was smaller than anticipated. And the temperature was 87°F in the restaurant.
Order was wrong. With 3 hungry grandsons It took 2x longer for lunch to wait on oldest cheeseburger to be the steak he asked for.. The waitress, new on the job I am sure. She gave the boys a dish of whip cream and 1 scoop of ice cream to share for good gesture .The steaks where very good.
Steak is great and their fried chicken bites appetizer is my favorite. It's always fresh, crispy and full of flavor! The atmosphere is nice and the staff are all kind.
I do really like Longhorn but lately they have been overcooking or undercooking my steak every time I go. I get medium rare and it’s either rare barely seared on each side or well done. They need a better trained cook. Hoping the trend changes w/future visits
If you are up for a great steak. Try the Fort Worth Ribeye. Wonderful flavor and tender.
Happened to be in town and decided to give Longhorn another shot. I had a gift card for them because the Columbia location ruined a dinner for us in February, and we figured that since we were in Liberty that we would go ahead and give them one more shot. Bad Idea. Yet again, another Longhorn had horrible issues with their management. They were short-staffed; according to our server, another server had called in so they were on bigger sections. Our server was constantly double sat so he could never get caught up so he was constantly busy with no breathing time while the TWO floor managers just watched idly. I was carded, which isn't a big deal but the manager could have come and checked my ID instead of making the server do it as he was just double sat... again.My husband's steak was WAY undercooked. He had ordered a medium well-done steak and received a very rare steak. We had the server take it back, along with his rice because when he cut into the steak... blood ran all over the plate: soaking the rice pilaf. The floor manager stopped by to apologize for the steak and to inform my husband that "the kitchen manager is handing his recook, personally". So, the kitchen manager must have been the one that thought MICROWAVING a steak was a great idea because when my husband's steak came back there was dried microwaved blood on the plate. The microwaved steak was "cooked" to a medium-well. The best part of the meal was the Strawberry shortcake dessert. We will not be returning to any Longhorn location and will recommend that others don't either.
Once again the Longhorn steakhouse did not disappoint. Had the Kansas City strip steak and it was absolutely amazing. This place is managed to perfection from the server all the way to the cook. They do a fantastic job making this the ultimate dining experience in the Kansas City area. Great job longhorn steakhouse!
I was impressed by the service we received. Our server was very nice and understanding. We had a great time. Mondays are not too busy.
Valentine's dinner and wife wanted steak and lobster. We were not disappointed. We ordered a 9oz Filet Mignon and 4oz Lobster tail. Steak was delicious. Ordered medium and was cooked perfectly. Lobster tail was tender and very good. Our server, Ross was very good and made the evening more enjoyable. And dessert to go..
