So. I ordered online. I got the Hawaiian lunch plate. Consisting of macaroni salad, pork and rice. You put everything in the same container that wasn't separated at all, just a one compartment plastic container. So the temp on everything was just weird. Then, (because it wasn't separated) everything mixed together in transit. Transit by door dash. Which took 30 mins to get here as he drove in circles. Before I finally just texted him street turns to get to us. Before I get the "well that's a door dash problem." No. It's a you problem. Stand by your vendors or don't use them. Work to mitigate the damage, by segmenting your to-go containers. So I don't have to eat a casserole of pork, macaroni and rice. Honestly the whole experience left a bad enough taste in my mouth, that I will never use door dash again. And if I come to there, I will drive there myself.Post response Edit:The Owner is making steps in the right direction to fix the problem. They have also offered to make things right by going above an beyond. So for that I will update my rating to 5 stars. I may or or may not take them up on the offer. Went to the Genessee St location inside the Hyvee Arena and they were fantastic! I’ve been to many Longboards locations and have never had a bad experience. Today I went in with a large order and they were very nice and accommodating!
Delicious as always. Location is a bit strange being inside the Hyvee arena but it is well worth it. Cabo chicken and Thai chicken grilled wraps both great choices!
As a local guide, I was very pleased with my Cabo Chicken bowl. 10/10 recommend longboards!
Doesn’t follow orders. I’m vegan and said no cheese and ranch and they put ranch that I can’t eat. Very much a inconvenience once you’re home and would have to drive 30 minutes round trip.
I visited the longboards in mission on 5/16 in the middle of the day. The three workers, two guys and one girl were very nice and deserve some kudos. I had a rough morning and had actually just left a funeral, and the employees noticed something was off and went above and beyond making my lunch. I ate outside and an employee even came out front and brought me a cookie and asked if the food was alright, which was also greatly appreciated. I worked in food service for 7 years and know it is not easy to find good workers like these, so please appreciate them and their work.
