Love these donuts!! And this location! Whenever we have gone in, the staff is always friendly, helpful, and kind even at the end of a long day. Can’t go wrong with LaMar’s!
if i could no stars i would, first when i walked up it was a young lady who was on her phone with elbows leaning on the counter top like she was at home. when i walked in i said goodmorning THREE times nobody said anything to me and when the young lady turned around and said "what''. its just a mess there i wont be returning im good.
Stopped at different location for us at Holmes road by 435. When we arrived there was a line down the sidewalk outside the store, we decided to stop anyway. After waiting a while to finally get inside, we found one poor young man working by himself to get everybody their donut fix. He was the most respectful patient hardworking person I have ever seen. LaMar's donuts are always excellent, so this review is more on the special young man working there, doing a fantastic job, and treating everybody with respect, salute sir.
I have always liked Lamar's Donuts, but the other day I paid nearly $4.50 for a Strawberry Bismarck at the Holmes and 99th location. After I caught my breath and asked why so much the employee said the owner raised the prices because of covid. Last time I go to this Lamar's.
Been recently loving these donuts again! A little pricey, but so good ? The donut holes are one of my faves. Can’t go wrong with the classic glazed donut. The specialty donuts are very good as well. They do have coffee as well & other beverages.
Second trip and second disappointment to what used to be my favorite spot for donuts. The glazed are no longer fluffy and big and the flavor is not as before. Staff offer no explanation for the lack of quality and change of taste which is sad.
I’m 65 and have been going to Lamars since I was a kid. I know things change as time passes but the experience I encountered with my favorite donut the last time I went which is a fluff filled long John makes me want to never come back. It was half the size that it normally was. The chocolate was hard and crumbly and the worst of all there was no fluff in it. When I brought it I asked the guy was he sure it.was filled and he said yes and showed me the side where it was but that didn’t mean anything cause when I got it home there was nothing in it at all. I’m looking for another favorite donut shop now.
Best donuts in town at Lamar's, but donut sizes vary by location. Staff usually personable and friendly.
Like Adam said a month ago nice and friendly staff always polite donuts are half the size and still charging the same price lamars set the standard for the quality of donuts sucks to see their standards drop 3 comments of donuts being too small in a month and people saying there going to find a new donut shop. Lamars fix your obvious issue bring back your normal size donuts I don't care If i spend 30 dollars on 10 donuts quality over quantity until then I'm finding a new donut shop myself
By far the best donuts I have ever had! Highly recommend!
