The food is absolutely delicious. They have vegetarian options. Portions are filling. I was greeted and seated in the most pleasant manner. My server was a true delight. This is one of the unsung soul food restaurants in Kansas City. The Kings Table should have lines down the street daily. Stop on by and enjoy a truly pleasant experience
We are from Oklahoma and we’re in town for a volleyball tournament. I loved the music playing and it was THE BEST breakfast food that I’ve had in a long time. If you haven’t been there you are definitely missing out!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Since my mom past I have been craving soul food. Well I am sad I won't be coming here again. This place is just ok. The mac n cheese is watery. The dressing taste just like sage. The greens taste like they were seasoned in prison. I support black business but the food here is awful. Just cook at home save your money.
Simple yet good food at a great price. I've been here at least a dozen times and have never been disappointed and always treated well. When I bring my daughter, they always make her feel like a princess!

I can honestly say this is the absolute best food I have ever eaten. Pork chops, greens, Mac and cheese, corn bread dressing, yams for breakfast and it was fresh all was INCREDIBLE! The manager told me they have been in business for 6 years! This place is a hidden treasure. I consider myself somewhat of a foodie and I am very picky. Thank you all so much for the fantastic breakfast. I appreciate you.
I enjoyed the food I ate there. It was like eating at home. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice. I will go back when I visit the city again. Love ❤️ good eating when traveling
I took members of my Gospel Choir to King's Table on the Martin Luther King Holiday. We had a great fellowship. The restaurant had a long table in the middle that accommodated 20 people and side tables for the overflow. The service was quick, the food was delicious, the waitress were kind and service orientated. They handled our group with no errors with our multiple orders. The owner- Mr. White found time to greet our group and welcomed us to come back. I ordered the Early Bird breakfast with coffee. I will be back in the next few days.
OOOOOOOO MAN!!!!! THIS PLACE! Absolutely amazing food! Great service and music. You guys need to try it out. And trust the servers when they give you recommendations (Neckbones, Corn bread, mack &cheese, green beans) ALLLLLLL ARE DELICIOUS!
