We went to KFC to grab a quick dinner for the family as we had been out all evening and wanted something quick. We ordered and they told us they were pretty much out of all sides except fries and coleslaw or mashed potatoes. We opted for fries. We get to the widow and get our food and I check the bag as we’re driving away to notice the fry container was only about half full. We pulled back around and ask them to fill it up. She says yes and then comes back and tells us they don’t want to make more fries and offered us chicken strips instead. So we’re left with a bucket of chicken, 4 chicken strips, and one side. For a family of 4. Frustrating but we go with it. We get home and get everything out and the chicken is SOGGY like it had clearly been sitting for a while. We ignore that and start eating it and it’s all bread and bone. There’s hardly any chicken. We won’t be returning as the service or food was not acceptable. We wasted 30 something dollars.
This is possibly the worst restaurant north of the river. I eat out a lot so I feel confident when I say this. On Mother’s Day they were very rude from the start, as soon as you pull up to the intercom they blurt out our fryer is broke and all we have is extra crispy and we have no pot pies. So I go ahead and order extra crispy then when I get to the window they tell me they don’t have no legs is that OK. No that is not OK you should have told me that from the get-go. Where on gods green earth do you think that it is logical to tell the person this information when they get up to the window to pay. This should be relayed at the intercom. Very rude service too I cannot believe it. Shut it down shut it down just like the mall across the street shut it down.
Unacceptable manager behavior! After waiting about 15 minutes for my food I was told by the manager Isaiah that they are cooking fresh chicken and I’ll have to wait a few more minutes. I was in no rush so I was fine with waiting. This quickly changed when I was told this information about 5 mins later as if he hadn’t said it before. It felt very off because he said it very flamboyant way which was very different from how he said it the first time when he had a much lower speaking tone. This was when I knew things weren’t right because the next thing I knew the drive through window opened and he quickly took the bag of food he was holding reached inside my car and dropped it on my lap. Then with a quick response he said “Now you can leave” with wide eyes as if he was possessed then he shut the window quickly after. After pulling away from the window I parked my car in the parking lot to make sure I got all of my food after those two rude unsettling interaction’s. I in fact did not get all of my order. So I went inside to get what I payed for. While waiting I noticed that the inside was filthy. Trash all on the floor behind the counter. Pieces of food, wrappers, and a spilled drink laying all over the floor of their work space. Honestly it smelled as if they are having sewer problems and are working in it.A different employee was able to get me the rest of my order but on my way out I heard someone say “Why was she so angry” in a baby voice. I turn around as I am walking out to see the same manager Isaiah sucking his thumb while talking to the employee who helped me.I have never seen such a unstable person in a manager position. I suggest KFC to take action immediately and let go of this unstable worker before they make another customer like myself have another unsettling hostile interaction. Not up to health standards as well.I suggest everyone avoid this location
i don’t know about you but i just wouldn’t recommend a place that overworks minors, steals from employees, and sells expired chicken.
This is the worst KFC I've ever been too!! I ordered extra crispy 8 PC meal. Got original chicken. Live about 25miles away and found this out at home. The chicken was very greasy and only 1 breast, should of had 2. I called them for over an hour and they kept hanging up the phone!Save your money and go to Popeyes or Church's chicken!! The employees don't care about anything, took my money and didn't even say Thank you!The Colonel would be rolling in his grave over this store!!
I ordered online for quick pick-up inside, but arrived to find all the doors locked. So I got in line for the drive thru, where I waited 35 minutes for my order to be wrong. I got mayonnaise all over my chicken sandwich, which I’d emphasized both online and at the window that I wanted mayo-free. They said they were out of tenders which I’d already ordered and paid for, and upon finding that out they said they had “found some in the back”, which I discovered upon the return home were merely cut up breast meat. Also got cole slaw instead of corn. I wrote this in to their leadership and have gotten zero response back. I won’t be going back to the Barry Road location ever again.
short staffed but every one busting their tails to get the orders out. who's not short staffed these days?
This location is literally the worst location I’ve ever experienced! I’ve been there 4x and each time I’m turned away because they’re solely fulfilling online orders. Which makes no sense because shouldn’t you have enough inventory to fulfill in person and online. If only I could give 0 stars! They are literally turning away profit! I’ve witnessed many cars leave the drive thru because they’re only doing online orders. How is this location still running? Maybe it’s incompetent staff?
Shouldn't even get 1 star. They was out the 2 things I can't for. So I ordered an 8 pc meal, all dark meat sides and a famous bowl. The chicken is ALL old and not dark meat. I tried calling several times, no answer. I'm on my way to get my money back
We waited to order at the drive thru for seven minutes. A mumbler finally slurred some words we couldn't understand. When we asked to repeat, we finally hear 'we only accept online orders.' No sign at the drive thru or on any of the windows. Needless to say I won't EVER return to this inconsiderate KFC.
