The bass was not very good but the server was great and the Sri jd were good.
Had a great salad and shellfish dinner.
We went for the national oyster day dinner. Great special menu item options and fantastic food as always! Definitely one of the best in town! Never disappoints.
We had reservation but had to wait for about 15-20 minutes to be seated. But is was well worth the wait! Had three different kinds of oysters (National Oyster Day) and a delightful, flavor full Lobster roll which we split and it was just the right size serving.
It was Oyster Day at Jax! Hubby loves oysters. I had a great Caesar salad and steamed shrimp. Jax is one of our favorite restaurants. Always great service.
Wife, & I went for the Oyster Po Boys ! We are from the North East, and Love our Oysters. Chris our server was phenominal, so gracious, friendly, and attentive. Great Cocktails, and the Thai curry broth with the Mussels was outstanding.
I have been going to jax here and there since they opened . I have not been for quite some time before this week though The menu has changed it is much more abbreviated now. The service was slow and they were out of some items including even The anchovies they offer for the Caesar salad. Dinner was good overall but this place has definitely slipped in the last few years
We had a lovely evening and itâs mainly because of our server, Mickey! He made us feel very welcome and explained all of the dishes.
The restaurant house music was very loud. We were shown to a small crowded room between three occupied table. We asked to be moved across the room to a less crowded area but another party was immediately seated next to us and we asked to be moved to the more open space near the bar. There were many open tables so we didnât feel our requests were unreasonable. They were accommodating on all three moves. However, music blared no matter what part of the restaurant we were in. Our server, Brie was great. And was right there when we needed anything. Beer was cold and my house cocktail the Bangkok Fuzz was delightful. Shel fish were well prepared and tasty starters as was the Caesar salad. However both the scallop entree and salmon were subpar. Scallops tasted old and were just under cooked. The rice looked and tasted like it had been on a steam table all day. We took a chance and ordered butterscotch pudding for desert - it was tasteless. We probably wonât go back.
