We had a large group and received excellent service. You can never go wrong with Jack Stack for the food is always fabulous ! Thanks for making our 50 anniversary gathering wonderful.

We got the family style Kansas City platter. It was an awesome tasting of multiple different meats! The ribs and wings were the BEST though. Definitely enough food for 2 people and probably would have been enough for 3. We got cocktails that were good, but a little pricey honestly. Loved that we could reserve a table ahead of time online easily—definitely a huge plus!
We waited an hour for a party of 8 and it was totally worth it! The BBQ Shrimp was the BEST. I definitely suggest EVERYONE try the shrimp appetizer!!! Whenever we make it back to KC we will be coming back here for sure!
Wow this barbecue is delicious. We stopped in for lunch after visiting Union Station. Great food and service. Get the carrot cake to go!
I had the pulled pork and beef ends both were very good the beef ends were especially good, so was the cole slaw. Service fast easy to park in the free garage
We came here after doing some site seeing and shopping in Kansas City. Both of us ordered the 2 Meat Dinner for $19 each with a beer and soda the total was $47. I guess that's a pretty typical night out price. The food was excellent, tender and delicious. I especially liked the sausage but the pulled pork was also very good. The atmosphere is great and the location is right downtown close shopping and lots to do (though they have several locations in KC area). Would definitely go here again.
We are tourists to the KC region and were told that Jack Stack was THE barbecue spot! This place did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the restaurant was outstanding! James was amazing and gave us a great patio seat (even though the restaurant was packed). Josh was our server and was kind, helpful, and very attentive to our dietary needs (allergies). For anyone with dietary preferences, take note: Jack Stack BBQ has a fantastic allergen menu that identifies the common allergens in each menu item! This was perfect for us and immensely helped us with our dinner selection. The service was great and the food was exceptional. Thank you James and Josh for a fantastic barbecue experience in Kansas City!
Isaac & Melissa took exceptional care of us. We enjoyed the incredible Fire Kissed wings, the Barbecue Shrimp & the Burnt Ends. The wings and the shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. The burnt ends unfortunately were dry so the extra bbq sauce offered help to moisten the ends which made them much more enjoyable. It’s a great space, lively, busy and overall very enjoyable.
