Y’all need to ask people if they want that nasty white powder on their food before putting it on there! It ruined EVERYTHING. Lay off the seasonings, everybody has high blood pressure after eating this, don’t argue with me. Somebody called this good chicken? No ma’am. I would have to travel to Chicago and on the south side, I would find REAL hood chicken from Harolds??♀️
Not good! It was my 1st time ever going. Bad location and bad parking. I got the catfish nuggets with okra and some bombers. At 1st sight it looked good. However when I got home and started getting into my food I was not pleased. Over half of it went in the trash as I found myself picking out the good pieces. The okra was not fresh at all and the worse fried okra I've ever had. The Catfish nuggets didn't seem fresh neither. The bombers seemed like they had been sitting as well. Everything seemed like leftovers! I don't recommend going. Find another fish and chicken place.
Nasty the fish and the chicken both were over cooked and hard the breading was dark like the oil was old. Then they gave me 3 packs of hot sauce for a 36 dollar order and I had to pay extra for a cup of hot sauce that was half full. Not to mention I drove from Lawrence.
Don’t waste your money. Don’t know if this establishment is under new management or what, but the food ain’t what it used to be. The shrimp are not “large” as mentioned on their menu, they were overcooked over-seasoned, and rubbery. The fish pieces were small, overly seasoned, overcooked, with way too much batter, which was so hard we could barely bite into it. The only thing good about this meal were the fries. One star rating is over-rated!!! Let the pics speak for themselves. Won’t be back!
My rating for this restaurant wouldn’t be a zero star. It would be negative stars. The customer service is extremely horrible. There are several layers of communication barriers. The first barrier is the high-pitched intercom system that they use. I think you have to be a dog to hear the high frequency when they are speaking through it. The second language barrier is the strong accent that the woman has that’s taking your order. Don’t ask her to repeat what she said because you didn’t understand it. Because she then gets verbally aggressive and rude.
Food was trash. We ordered 20 piece mixed, they cut the chicken breast in half. The breast was so little, they looked like thighs. The legs were so little, like a baby chick. The spaghetti noodles were soggy and tasted like SpaghettiO’s. Fish 2 for 5.99 is one piece of fish cut in half. Bombers nasty, Go To Churches. I will never eat here again.

The chicken is good but be prepared to fight whoever is in the lobby(other customers) who clearly are on drugs or have mental health issues. Wouldn’t recommend if you aren’t prepared to fight the unstable or the strug out in line or for the extremely long wait for your food. They need security. If you are not use to the area. LIKE I SAID, wouldn’t recommend!
Chicken is inconsistent. Fish was good. Some sides in cooler prepacked,not sure of freshness or length of time waiting to be sold. Desserts are not as good as some other places.
Clean, fast, fresh, and polite establishment of people! Food was hot and good. My grandmother calls it crack chicken with the seasoning and she loves it..
