I visited In-a-Tub with a couple of colleagues for lunch. Very good fried crispy tacos, despite having reservations about the "powder cheese." The menu is surprisingly extensive, also. The restaurant was clean and the staff I interacted with were energetic, full of life. 5 stars for a quality lunch experience.
I love In -A...Tub but I don't live in Kansas city anymore so I don't get to eat there as often as I would like to. I would definitely recommend this place to everybody bc they have the best tacos. I used to go there ever since I was a little girl and they are still in business that makes me very happy!!
Finally got to eat at In-A-Tub after decades of hearing all the hype. It's not hype after all. Wow, really tasty tacos! The employees were also more helpful than typical fast food joints.
I was craving In-A-Tub! Ordered 6 tacos: beef and bean to be exact!Came home and inhaled the tacos! I loved that there were all females working that day/shift! They seemed very happy and working well together! The cashier lady was nice!Definitely coming back to this location again!I'm obsessed with the sauce they serve with the tacos !! ????
I visited because a friend highly recommended this place. The restaurant is clean and there are plenty of tables to eat. I was told they are known for their deep fried tacos so I had to try them. I really enjoyed. Crispy deep fried tacos, how can you go wrong? I tried the beef and beef/bean combo. I would definitely get them again. Something else they're known for is powdered cheese sprinkled on top of the tacos. It definitely added to an already good tasting taco. Many raved about the deep fried mushrooms so I had to try them too. These are definitely homemade, not your frozen Cisco packaged mushrooms. The only thing I was disappointed in is the cost. I really hate spending almost $15 to take out and finish my meal still hungry. The mushrooms were very good but I'm not sure they were worth the price. I will definitely return, but will probably not spend for the mushrooms again and try a different side.
I am confused. I came here to see if my experience correlates with others, and I question the authenticity of these reviews. I love greasy foods but this is not the place. Meat no flavor. Powdered cheese ?. Lettuce economic at best. Grease need to be changed, working with food it's easy to tell when the oil hasn't been changed in a while. If I was 8 years old again yes, or out late drinking this would be decent. But as someone who had ate at a few of KC's best I'm still questioning how this one made it on the list. The first time I've experienced a place I would rate below the Bell.
From all the reviews I wanted my socks to be blown off BUT after trying them my sock were still firmly on my feet with duct tape wrapped around them I would rather eat taco Bell then this mess and I haven't eaten Taco Bell for 11 years don't believe those other reviews. These are just bad ?
Food is always great! Customer service is phenomenal! Such a great atmosphere with all the decor and smiles! We love this place!? ?
If you know, you know. It's a certain taste we enjoy when over in this part of town. Bean, beef, cheese tacos and fried zucchini. Hit the spot.
I looked on Google for, "food near me" and it popped up this place with rave reviews, so we decided to give it a try. I'M SO GLAD WE DID!! The food is so delicious! The fried tacos, pickles, chicken strips, corn nuggets and fries plus fudge sundaes were all delicious! The staff is SUPER family oriented friendly plus helpful in choosing menu items. Thank you for being the BEST ????WE will see you soon??
