This is a great store, with some of the lowest prices in town. My wife and I stop by a couple times a month, as we enjoy their extensive selections. Unfortunately, I was there earlier this morning, and without exception I received the same 1/10 customer service (the 1 is for successfully processing my transaction). The female cashier, who is usually working around that time (during the week), has one of the more unfriendly dispositions. She doesn't listen to your requests, she's bothered by any questions, and responds to a polite, "thank you for your help", with complete silence. She always behaves this way, and that demeanor should never be exposed to paying customers. Perhaps a position stocking the coolers is a more appropriate use of her skills, or lack there of.
The staff was helpful in directing me to the right section where what I wanted was.
This liquor store is nice. Haven't been in years. There was a decent amount of people in there for a Thursday. Large selection of beer wine and liquor, plus cigars. They've also got Missouri lottery games.
I like this place, but the staff appears to not enjoy working there. It's hard to get anyone to help you, and they often give you the answer "I have no idea."If you know what you want, and you know where it is, this is a decent place to stop by and grab it. If you need information about beer, wine, or spirits .. this is not the place.
They have a lot of fun seltzers and beers but they lack quality rum and rum mixers. Better for manhattan or old fashioned accoutrement or beer.
It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but wow it really do be bootiful… lol. Seriously, a great remodel with tons of selection. If you’re looking for something special hit this spot.

WOW Hy Vee! Your ad was misleading. Your patrons know that if you buy 6 bottles of wine you get a 10% discount. But when you advertise in your weekly ads and post on the shelf that a specific wine costs a lesser amount when 6 bottles are purchased, your patrons think it is a special sale which should also give them the regular wine discount. Very misleading and disappointing!
