Definitely a must try! The food quality is amazing and the service is great. Be sure to get on the wait list on Yelp before arriving.

The waitress Liv was the highlight of what was maybe one of the hardest days of my life. She was so incredibly amazing and quite possibly the best waitress I’ve ever come across. The food and drink was good too. I had the croissant French toast, egg and bacon. Green juice and chai tea. Brought some coffee cake home. It was yummy as well. This might be my new favorite brunch spot.

Just delicious! Everything we got tasted so yummy. Our waitress was really helpful and suggested good items on the menu. I went in wanting eggs Benedict but the salsa verde pork & eggs she suggested sounded really good. I asked her if I could combine the two they customized the dish with no extra charge! The coffee cake was the best I’ve ever had! It was warm and came with syrup you get to pour on top. Yummy yummy yummy! Hazelnut latte and the honey bee were pretty good. Definitely eating there again next time we’re in Kansas City.

A great new addition to the Brookside restaurants. Easy to find right on the corner of Wornall and 63rd with ample parking in front and on the west side. This breakfast only place is open early from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm 7 days a week. The atmosphere and food are great! Only surpassed by the friendly service. Our server, Mattie, was really helpful with out hovering. I had the biscuits and gravy with bacon and rosemary potatoes and the princess enjoyed the limon French toast with the mango tango to drink. Everything was done well, served hot and quickly. We arrived with out reservations just after 9 am and were seated almost instantly by the time we finished just after 10 there was a line out the door and down the block! Highly recommend we are sure to return soon.

I've been seeing all the Facebook posts of great looking food so we decided to try it. we had lemon ricotta pancakes and crispy Scavuzzo's bacon. good coffee today. now to come back the avocado salad. yum. very good!

My husband and I ate breakfast at the counter here on Saturday. It was our first time. We kept asking questions of the person working behind the counter. She was very charming and didn't let on if it bothered her!! The staff, food, decor, and vibe was terrific. Their motto is "cultivate kindness". This philosophy, as well as the use of locally sourced eggs, milk, and meats, makes it the kind of place I want to let everyone know about! They seem to have it all figured out! Congratulations and we will most definitely be back!

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile. I love that they use so many local products! Messenger coffee, Shatto milk. Camp Lindo eggs. Etc. The food was delicious! I didn't take a picture but you need to try the coffee cake! It was really yummy. We tried the baked oatmeal, Cuban sandwich, 3 little pigs sandwich and meats omelet. All of these items were delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's a nice bright cheery place.

Everything was wonderful....took a sec to get in ,even with the online que system, but it was a Sunday...food and service were awesome! Love the locally sourced products....we will be back for sure! If you have an issue with noise, I recommend a weekday. We were fine, but it could be an issue for some.

Delicious food & great service! Coffee was excellent. Clean, beautiful facility. The coffeecake was amazing and was a very generous portion. I also really enjoyed the salsa verde & egg; bold and unique flavors.I'll definitely be coming back!

We had above-and-beyond service from Alex today. She was very gracious to our group of eight. We had a variety of coffee and juice drinks - some with and without alcohol. Everyone loved their drinks. I thought it was weird they don't have gin, which is how I prefer my Bloody Mary's so I missed the chance to try one of those although they looked great. The coffee cake was also a hit. After that, things go from great to good. The biggest problem is the acoustics in this place. It was very busy, the wait was just over 2 1/2 hours. You can get on a wait list via an app, which we did since there were eight of us. We simply could not enjoy ourselves because it was so loud. Even talking to the person next to you was a challenge. The blueberry poptart had a great filling in it, but overall the poptart was way too sweet (divided by eight). The cinnamon poptart had a weird texture, the filling was very hard. I had the turkey avocado eggs Benedict. The eggs were prepared perfectly and the hollandaise is great. The turkey was scant. None of us who got Benedicts liked the English muffin itself. It was slightly toasted but it was not crispy or chewy which I think are the trademark traits. The rosemary potatoes are delicious. I regretted not getting bacon after I saw other tables' servings. I would go back and give it another try. The eggs, potatoes and coffee cake definitely are stars. There is a small parking lot at the end of the strip mall where this restaurant is located. There's a lot of street parking nearby, but there does tend to be a lot of business and resident parking so give yourself some time to park if you're meeting a group. There's not really much handicapped parking available. The entrance and restrooms are not accessible without help. The restrooms are gender specific but are individual stalls so it wouldn't be a problem to use either. There is a bar you can sit at first come/first serve but I'd recommend you use the app to put your name on the wait list ahead of time. There is a children's menu here. There's a lot of locally-sourced ingredients here and freshly squeezed juices. In addition to adding gin to the menu, I'd have loved it if they had freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.
