My best friend told me to try Headrush and now I am obsessed. There are so many creative flavors and the quality is unmatched! While the prices are generally higher than most coffee chains, the taste and experience are always worth it to me. I have never once been dissatisfied and I can’t wait to grab some tomorrow morning.

I was heartbroken when the other locations closed. Headrush is a fantastic business with great drinks and great employees. Glad to see they are back in business!
Even though I found out today that Headrush Coffee Roasters doesnt offer bagels, I have to admit this is a very, very nice coffee shop.Well. After alll, their strength is their coffee, right?Now, who cares about bagels when the cranberry scone I got instead was super yummy?These guys really know their coffee. I used to be a coffee trader myself and am picky with this stuff.Kudos to having and being willing to prepare a decaf americano and then a decaf capuchino which was supreme in my scale of things, size temperature, flavor, and balance between milk and coffee. I like it not so mildI seldom set foot on the biggies such as Starbucks or Coffee Bean, because lately I find them dissapointing. Not the case at all with Headrush Coffee Roasters.Clean, peaceful, music not overbearing (loud music, mistake many food venues make), well organized, fast service, a patio!?Plenty of parking at this strip center, in a newly developed area of KC, MO.Frosting on the cake was the fact that they had a soprano Ukulele hanging on a wall. I couldn't resist and asked permission to play. Amazingly, it was almost 100% tuned up! I played a few tunes and felt how good life can be when we all do our jobs with devotion and humility.Thank you.
Great, fresh coffee with a great lounge to get work done. They roast beans in house so their coffee is tasty and fresh. Lots of options for tea as well.
KC coffee crammers: Baristas were very kind and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was fantastic. LOTS of flavor options for your coffee. The classic head-rush is very strong but the flavor doesn’t have a lot of body to it. However drinks with less espresso and more flavor shots, like the horchata, make up for this and create a very flavorful drink. All drinks were iced.
Let me start off on a positive note. The coffee is great…Really enjoy the coffee, but the place is filthy. The urinal has been broken ever since I can remember. The floor is incredibly gross. Even in the seating and ordering area. The baseboards are black from being mopped with dirty mop water. The carpet is stained badly. Spiderwebs under the coffee table. It’s just not somewhere that I want to hang out with a friend or do work on my computer.The workers work hard, and generally produce a pretty good product, however sometimes they are not very friendly.Surprised that a shop in this location would be run in such a way. It’s been this way for months. I waited a long time before posting anything, but it’s consistently dirty. If I were the owner, I would be down there myself cleaning this place. The workers are way too busy making drinks for everyone. Maybe they should hire more people.
Didn't know there was a location at Briarcliff! It is really nice and has many places to sit inside. They have a nice patio area covered by a pergola too! Will be great for when it's warm!I got an iced caramel rush which was good!
I enjoyed the house coffee and the atmosphere of the coffee shop. The barista was pleasant enough. What is most impressive is the large quantity of green coffee beans the location has.
THE BEST COFFEE hands down, have yet to match their air roasted coffee which avoids the burnt bitter tastes. Try my favorite, a latte with half coconut half oat milk. So good!! ?
