Visited today for an early ?. It is a small space but the make the best of it. The decor is tasteful and intriguing. It is strategically located and not over indulgent.You walk in and seat yourself. My server was amazing. She brought me ? expeditiously. I ordered the Jerk ?. It was yummy. The seasoning was spot on. The jerk sauce was bold and and unique. The red beans and ? was good too.Plenty of ushered in much natural light without the heat. The restaurant was clean, dust free, and had a contemporary feel.
Our server was really lovely but the drinks were not good. A great place for beers/shots but if you want a classic cocktail made with care and correctly; probably not the right spot.
Absolutely horrid food. This place used to be good 5-6 years ago, but the apps we ordered were terrible. Avoid the tasteless Spinach Artichoke Dip, rotten meat hangar steak (6 oz maybe?), topping-less nachos, & the frozen pretzels. Avoid at all costs. Waste of money, and you could avoid possible food poisoning.
Went in today to order my fave dish at Harry's - which by the way is the best in town. Two things that were a "turn off" right away. 1. Happened to see the chef preparing my item for carry out and he was putting his bare hands in the chips to put them in the container. With everything going on with pandemic, etc. I would've preferred seeing gloves to accomplish this task. 2. I stood by the bar for over 5 minutes with employees walking right past me behind and outside of the bar. They weren't "slammed". Noone greeted me which was beyond frustrating. Certainly not the service I'm used to and I've come to this place many times over the years. This is a Kansas City staple and I really hope they work to improve the customer experience.

Tonight was a real shock! I have been here many of times but never experienced the bartender being so rude? We asked them when they closed and both of them said 3! At 2:45 with a new drink in our hand they tell us to leave and if we don’t we will never be allowed in again. I’m never coming to an establishment that has such horrible customer service. DONT try this place unless you are desperate for a spot in Westport!
Harry's location is amazing. The interior is beautiful and classic, the service is excellent, the food great! This is a must go to bar.The reason I am giving this bar 5 stars is because while I was there, I witnessed a girl being harassed by a couple men. They would not leave her alone and it was clear she was uncomfortable. The bar tender (a big hunk of a man) confronted those men and they ended up leaving the bar. That was absolutely outstanding. I'm putting this on a review in hopes the business will see it and give that man a raise.
What a great little bistro. The atmosphere is impeccable. The wait staff are attentive. And the food is excellent. Will be back soon.!
This wasn't a bad bar. Realistically it probably is a four out of five, but I personally felt like my bartender did not have the customer service I expect. And I hate to give a lower review because of one employee. Overall the everything else about the bar was pretty good. Out of every bar I've been to in Kansas City I feel like their prices were some of the best. Very fair. And they're open till 3:00 a.m. which is nice. If you're in the area, I would give it a try.
