The service is so friendly, and quick! We’d barely sat down last night and had at least three people ask for drink orders. The menu has a good variety and everything is always delicious. Our main server, Kaleb, is the perfect balance of informative, charming and timely.
Great experience. Some of the best service I have had in years. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The food was good, and we will definitely be back.
Very friendly staff. Good portions for the price. Restrooms small but very clean. Meal came out fast. We had Derrick as our sever and he was great.

this restaurant /bar is fantastic. the food is incredible ,the staff and ownership always so friendly and really go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience . the establishment is always clean as well.
SERVICE IS PHENOMENAL! The manager replaced our drinks without hesitancy when we did not like them. Multiple servers came to check on us throughout dinner. The manager was on the floor helping the servers. they were all so friendly with my toddler. Food was average. Everything was very healthy! I think the service makes the experience so worth it.
What a great place. Lots of great drinks to choose from and a nice menu. The food was great. The staff was incredible. They made my trip to Kansas City a great experience tonight. Definitely give them a try if you’re in the area.
Always a friendly face, nice environment & delicious meals. Outdoor seating is available during warmer days. The outside deck is a nice place to have a spring or summer party or celebration. Locally owned by a caring & wonderful family. We always love our time at Governor Stumpys??

Never have I ever heard of a PISTACHIO cake!!! But after having it at Governor Stumpy's. I am sold on the idea. It was light, creamy, just a perfect touch of sweet and.....it did ACTUALLY taste like a pistachio. A little earthy, and nutty to round out the finish of my first bite. I was greeted by bright smiling enthusiastic gentlemen at the bar and throughout my experience inside. The staff seemed genuinely happy I was there. I'm going to go back soon to see my server Patrick! Or .... uh oh! I forgot his name. I Guess I'll have to go back to get his name and update this post. The service was over the top. And this man needs his credit..check back soon for an update
