I forgot how much I love this place! Things have changed a little since I have been there (years ago). It the food is still so good! We had all you can eat seafood and meat $23/pp on the weekend they only option is all you can eat, no one bowl only :(. The prices have raised, but so has everyone else’s. I recommend following the recipe so you get the correct consistency and heat level!
The food is delicious and is prepared quickly. The staff is friendly and nice, but service was a little slow. It was moderately busy,and they may have been short staffed.Also, as of 3/16/22, the prices were significantly higher ($20 VS $15 for the buffet) than what is shown online, so be aware if you're planning ahead.
Come to here twice ,rude host lady and slow service. Sit down for ten minutes without being served.Food was ok,my pork was raw last time.
Cute store front with an extensive menu, including alcoholic drinks and a la carte items on top of the barbecue options. We had three adults and three kids, all of us had Mongolian barbecue. We paid $136 after tax (not including tip). A little pricey but worth the penny if you're bellying up to the bar. Ingredients are fresh and the chef is very quick in cooking.
Food was cold and when it was sent back it was half reheated and rubbery. Probably microwaved. Owner told me it was my fault and that I can’t expect food always to come out hot. Told her it was inedible. She gave me my bill with a small discount and made me pay for food I couldn’t eat
The food was yummy but the buffet part was super confusing so we went the al a carte route. I got the Mongolian chicken special and the flavor was good. However it was sitting in a pile of grease which was off-putting. The general tsao and crab rangoon were really good. I also thought this place was a little on the pricier side than other similar restaurants.
I have been coming here for a few years now and it is still one of my, if not my ultimate favorite place to eat in KC, and this is coming from someone who has definitely gotten around the KC food scene. The food is consistently amazing, they have the best hot and sour soup and crab Rangoon in town in my opinion, and every single person on the staff is friendly. Highly recommend this place!!
One of my favorite places to eat. Great food, and good for people watching. Left off one star due to out of appetizers constantly, and empty food at the food stations. Let us get our own appetizers again rather than waiting for them to come around and give them to us.
Ghengis Khan never disappoints! Whether you are ordering from the menu or headed to fill up your own bowl to have your own creation cooked for you it is easy to say there is something for everyone. They have amazing sanitary precautions in place making for a super safe good time. If you opt for the bbq it is accompanied by the freshest crab rangoon and your choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup both are amazing! I love bringing people to Ghengis Khan it has great ambiance and the staff is super cool and friendly.
Very tasty general tso chicken. Atmosphere is awesome and the food is super delicious. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
