Such a disappointment. Tripe and ox tails were not cooked long enough. Rice and peas were salty and too moist. Pattie filling was tasty but the crust was tough. Curry was too salty.
My friend boasted about this place having such great food but I was not impressed I guess they were having a bad day. I plan to try it again though

Don't let the look fool you. Food taste amazing and a lots of food to eat . We order take out , oxtail, goat curry , jerk chicken, fry pan banana all good . I definitely come back for more
Great, fresh food. There was one woman that was cooking and running the register. Good took a bit of time but I was patient because the food smelled great. She held her own, loved that. The prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. My fiancé and I were given hefty servings. We had the curry chicken, cabbage, rice and bean, the oxtail, and the beef patty. Everything was well seasoned and fresh. I also tried out the banana pudding and it was the best I’ve had in KC. I’m going back today. I’m only giving 4 stars because they are severely understaffed. So you need to be prepared to wait.
The food here is awesome. I had the Jerk Chicken, steamed cabbage, and the red beans and rice and cream soda and my son had the curried goat, Mac and cheese, and the red beans and rice. We also had the festival. This all was awesome. Would go again.
I picked up some goat stew and rice, it was amazing. They threw in some fried plantain. I will eat there again. Very good
If you like frozen vegetables out the bag in your cabbage with crunchy rice, then this is the place for you. Square carrots and bite sized green beans come from the frozen veggies aisle. The rest of the food was very bland. Will not go again. Will not recommend
Amazing flavor and spice! Red beans and rice were perfect.Had jerk chicken and oxtail. So good! Chicken wings might be the best in the city. Big and juicy, perfect spice.
