Normally I love Five Guys. It's my preferred "Fast Food" Burger spot. This location wasn't great. There seemed to be only teens/young adults working, which is completely fine and normal. I know there's a labor shortage, so I try to remain patient and consider the fact that maybe they're new/recently trained. But the restaurant was fairly busy and none of the staff were moving quickly. I ordered my food online and it said 10-15 minutes. When I got there at 10 minutes, they told me my food was still being prepared (no problem). But then I proceeded to wait for nearly 30 minutes. As I was waiting, I watched the staff move extremely slow, there was no efficiency or speed or rush to get things made or speak to the customers standing in line or waiting for orders. When I got home, our food was already cold, the fries were sub-par, and the burger was poorly cooked. With the price you pay ($9/burger), I'd expect a better quality product and somewhat faster service.
Great food. Lots of it in a clean restaurant. When we came in they were just finishing drying the high chairs after a power wash. I wish all restaurants did this.
If I could give a zero star I would. I ordered online, was delivered the wrong order by Uber. I let Uber know by texting the Uber driver who immediately came and switched the order out, she had just made a mistake and given me the wrong one that belonged to someone else. Then when I opened my order I saw that 5 guys had made my burger wrong, which they admit. It was smothered in onions instead of how I ordered it which is verified by my receipt. I called 5 Guys- the only thing they told me they would do is replace it if I brought it to them. If I’d been able to drive there I would have done that to start with. I was then told the only way I could get my money back was to call Uber. The number I have from my Uber delivery goes to a busy signal and no one has answered my text. I was as kind as could be when talking to 5 guys - they obviously don’t care, and for sure won’t take responsibility, It’s a shame because I love their burgers when they are made right. $26 down the drain, and nothing to eat. HUGELY Disappointed- will never use them again, but they probably don’t care about that either.
We ordered one thing. One. Fries were limp, not crispy. Excellent customer service by the only person wearing a lovely black mask...at the register! Bravo sweetie, we appreciate YOU!!!! She's our 5* favorite! Everyone else breathing on the food needs to MASK UP THOSE VAPORS FROM YOUR MOUTH AND NOSE. Some wore gloves, others did not. No masks observed in cooking areas. I'm assuming food handling & cleanliness are optional at this location. Won't be back once we realized these practices. Ew. ??Please note they do not respond to their grossness reviews ie. COVID protocols, nasty floors etc.
Never again. Been there numerous times and it's as if they intentionally hire the rudest folks possible to take orders. Perhaps consider training your staff in basic customer serve skills being ownership/management is ultimately responsible for this location's notorious incompetence. From now on I'll patronize the nearby Culvers where they actually understand civility and service
After hearing so much positive stuff about Five Guys I recently had the chance to check it out. While eating one of my fave snacks..salted ? in the shell (I love working to get the peanut out of the shell) that are free to eat while waiting for your order, my sister guided me through the order process. She suggested sizes to order. A few peanuts later our order was ready. Everything is a la carte. She raved about the fries which were plentiful. Salted to perfection. My order was a bacon cheeseburger. I didn't know you had to request what garnishments you wanted. Before our order was ready my sister asked one of the employees to add lettuce and tomato. It was one of the most satisfying burgers taste wise and size wise. I highly recommend a visit. Remember you need to mention the garnishments you would like on burgers. Enjoy!
Always amazing hamburgers but their fries are always underwhelming. They've gotten alot better over the years but still nothing outstanding.
Good Quality Ground Beef more closely resembles the homemade burgers and their potatoes are the best Cajun style or plain but fresh out the grease
I love this burger place .The food is always freshly made. No other hamburger joint can compare.! Worth the price.
The burgers are so good, I always get a Little Bacon Cheese Burger Loaded
