I placed an online order for my wife on mother's day since we didn't want to wait for 1+ hours to be seated in house. I placed the order at 10:30am to be picked up at noon, it wasn't ready until 12:30. The food tased ok. I already expected to receive small quantities for a high price, but what we received was even less than we had expected. The portions could have even been overlooked if the personation wasn't so poor especially on a day so significant to my wife.
This was a disappointing visit. For beverages we both asked for ice water with lemon and were only brought a carafe of tap-cold water. No explanation for not honoring our request. Apparently you only only get ice when you order a beverage they can charge for. I had the "Choose Two" with a half Beef and Havarti and soup of the day which was Italian Wedding Soup. The soup had a good taste, but could have been hotter. My guess is that it had been prepped before/while the sandwich was made. As for the 1/2 sandwich, the beef was very tough. While I was pleased they'd served it on toasted bread rather than a bun, the bread was tough as well. I only are one-half of the half sandwich. My husband had the open-faced chicken salad melt. He said the flavor was good but was hard to eat because the melted cheese "glued" every thing together and made it hard to take a single bite without dismantling the entire sandwich. This would be better received if it was a regular sandwich between two slices of bread. Fortunately we had a BOGO offer from his birthday or I would have been a very unhappy camper. I doubt we'll be back. Too bad; I have good memories from the Fairway location. .
Should’ve dined in or gotten a kids meal. My daughter had more eggs than the “adult size” meal. I never have issues with the 210 location but Shoal Creek is a hit or miss.
I eat here every Wednesday for my dad is in a nursing home nearby. Amanda is the best server, hostess, new friend in that restaurant. When she see me coming my order is pretty much ready just like I like it as I set down at my table. Her smile, great attitude and attention to details to her customers is fantastic..
Food, service & atmosphere was great.
We are regulars. We enjoy visiting regularly but because of money have had to cut down some. We normally come everyday. I am a vegetarian and can always find things to eat. We love all the staff but we always ask for Amanda when she is there. She was the one who waited on us the first time we came. We enjoy talking to her. She is very lively and fun to be around. She is often busy since others ask for her or she is training new staff. She works so hard for the company. She always gets customers to try the juice.I have heard some say she is the juice pusher. We look forward to each visit where we get to see Amanda.
I drive past several other restaurants to get to the Library First Watch. My wife, my daughter, and I all have somewhat special diets. One of your waitresses is especially helpful with our specific needs. She assists us in keeping my family healthy. I want you to know that if I was just going to get good food I would not come all the way to Liberty for it. I would probably go to Kate's restaurant on North Oak, but they don't respect my family's special needs. It's like they don't hear us. Your waitress who does such an excellent job of helping us with our special needs is named Amanda. I always ask for her because she takes such good care of our needs. We used to not eat out very often, because no one seemed to listen to our needs. Because of your waitress I can bring my family out to eat more often than I have been able to in the past. I should also say that this person is more professional in the way she performs her duties that I really appreciate her service to my family.
One of the main reasons we come to first watch is Amanda. She always gets our order right though it they are complicated. She dedicated to making sure we are happy with our orders. I don't know if we would come if it was not for her.
This was the 152 and Booth Avenue location. It was a great brunch, with my Family. Amanda was our server, and She was awesome. We sampled the lavender tea, which ended up being amazing. The food was excellent. I asked that my breakfast potatoes be cooked crispy, and they were. Overall, they deserved the 5 stars!!
Worth the wait! Saturday morning is busy and we knew this! Even drove about 25 minutes to get there. Wait was about 30 minutes. Honestly the best breakfast place for clean eating that still tastes amazingly indulgent. I had the new menu item carnitas burrito that was smothered in a chipotle hollandaise sauce that was to die for. Hubby had the breakfast tacos, he loved them. I can’t forget to mention the fresh pressed juices that bring me back for sure!
