When I started to order the girl behind the counter said “ I’m on a break! Then she laughed. Waited 25 minutes for my food. Several customers came into order while I waited and employees were very rude. One of the employees told a customer “ we don’t have time to make that order something else”As customer left the restaurant the employees made fun of them and laughed about how the customers looked “. Stay away from this place!!!
Probably the WORST dining experience of my entire life. Walked in..first thing we hear is a lady YELLING at the employees ANSWER THE PHONE!!! We order our food and maybe 2 minutes after we paid, the same lady goes running into the back room, not the bathroom, and is uncontrollably vomiting. Then comes back out to the counter and continues making food and made one of the other employees go clean up her vomit. She yelled at every single employee for something, told one of them she was going to slap them and throw up on them. The other lady, I assume was the manager on duty, complained the entire time about having to work so many days in a row and everyone making mistakes. Finally after 30 minutes, our food was ready. But wait, it wasn’t our food. One of the sandwiches was for a guy that had been waiting for an hour for his food. All the employees argued about who’s fault it was for a good 10 minutes before I got my actual order. Food was sub par. I’ve always liked Firehouse but never will I ever ever return to this location.
Terrible. It was dirty, someone was working without gloves and they were cross contaminating the vegetables with the meat. Someone was laughing and sprayed the food with spit. Another worker swore around us without a care in the world. I won’t take one bite. Another thing, one of the male MANGERS Was inappropriately watching my fiancé the entire time we were waiting for our food. In the end I tried calling them and the same manager that was watching my fiancé answered, said he would give the refund, then I explained more of what happened and he changed his mind and said corporate won’t allow them to give refunds without them seeing the food in person. Sadly I live 20 minutes away and I’m not about to drive all the way back over there, and I had already thrown it away. The manager Basically called me a liar on the phone when I told him what we saw. Super disrespectful. I’m very very disappointed in this place. I would not recommend at all. Terrible service In that location. Definitely should’ve looked up the reviews before we went over. 0 stars.
COVID definitely did a number on the service industry. Kids have no sense of urgency for their customers, they take their time chatting away while taking 15 minutes to make 2 subs. On top of the manager openly & loudly talking about her father's funeral and how they couldn't embalm him, she also did not ask me to round up my total for the Firemen. I love firehouse subs but they've definitely lost their ways.
This place is really hit or miss depending on the crew that day. Today I stood at the counter was was completely ignored for almost 10 minutes before I left. I get that you're busy and short staffed but at least have the courtesy to acknowledge your customers instead of complaining you can't catch a break ever time someone else walks in.
I wish I could say good things about this place, but I can't! Ordered lunch for a group of doctors and residents. The order was late. I picked up the order ( for 14 people) nothing was labeled. The staff complained loud enough all the customers could hear, the entire time I was in the store. "They aren't paid enough", "have not had a cigarette break", "customers should get the quality = to what the boss pays". I reached out to the owner and Kevin seemed great at first. Apologized, really wanted to make it right. Asked if I'd give them another opportunity. Told me he'd give credit for my bad experience. I also asked if he could get a receipt (I wasn't given one and it was a business expense) I never received the promised receipt or any credit/ store gift cards. I reached back out to him, thinking it was just an oversight. He apologized again and promised to address promptly. To this date, (5/17/22) I've not seen or heard anything from him. This happened in February 2022. I've been more than patient. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!! (I was warned about this place but thought I'd give it a shot... I should have listened) I almost forgot to mention, while I was there waiting on my order that was late, the manager was telling people who walked in that they would have to wait about 20 minutes BEFORE they even took their order. This was at 11:15 am! Most people have limited time on their lunch break. Very bad customer service! It starts at the top and Kevin didn't set a good example in my experience. Definitely not a man of his word.
I went to fire house subs with my family...3 young lady's were working hard to get orders together... I waited at least 10 mins literally. Not one word....like sorry we will be right with you.... after we waited that long...finally someone said sorry for the wait grab your chips and drink and we will get with you in a min...I understand short staffing, and to go orders are super busy....but it takes a sec to acknowledge the customer....

This was my first time visiting the chain.My sandwich was still tasty even though my online order wasn’t followed correctly.The energy and morale of the staff was poor. It presented in various ways while I observed the interactions between coworkers. Emotions also spilled out to interactions with customers.This location could benefit greatly by using team building exercises regularly.
Haven’t tasted my food yet. Just been sitting here for 30 minutes waiting on my order. The fact that this appears to be a problem for over a year that hasn’t been fixed shows the owners negligence. Sure you comment on your bad reviews. But we don’t want comments. We want better service. Wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for my grandfather really wanting a sandwich right out of the hospital.
