Truly a great experience. My group of 6 accidentally booked a reservation at the Mexico City located and showed up at the KC location. They were so accommodating and fit us in in 5-10 minutes. Our server was great and very knowledgeable about the menu. The owner/chef came up and chatted with us. Overall, an incredible dining experience. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Drinks were fabulous, the half seafood tower was delicious (looovveed the smoked trout dip), and our entrees were perfect. The orange olive oil cake capped off an incredible dinner with excellent service by Sarah. Can’t wait to come back.
Very nice little restaurant. Our entrées were excellent. However the octopus appetizer was terribly over salted. As one of my favorites I've had octopus many times all over the world. This one tasted like it was salt cured. Eating it nearly gave my taste buds a chemical burn. The short ribs and gnocchi were great.
Consistency in great service and excellent food! Wide selection of pasta’s, meat and seafood, one of my favorite dinning options in Kansas, the only downside is desert! Overall experience is absolutely excellent, dine with your eyes closed.
We rented out the restaurant for my 50th birthday party, it was phenomenal. Food and service were great. They also allowed us to bring in a DJ and create a dance floor area. We also like to go sit and eat at the bar on a regular basis. Food quality and service are always top notch.

We loved our dinner at Farina! The You Apricota Be Kidding Me and Old Fashioned cocktail were delicious. We had the seasonal asparagus salad (delicious crunch with pistachios), lemon creste de gallo (favorite) and bucatini carbonara pasta. Finished the meal with the layered coconut cake - amazing. Save room for dessert!
Farina was amazing! I just recently celebrated my 21st birthday here (03/15/22) and the staff and servers were patient, fast, and very helpful! If you’re thinking about celebrating your birthday or any celebration.. do it here! AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING! Thank you Farina! Food was very good.
Farina just became one of my favorite restaurants in Kansas City. They have outstanding food and service, and they have a wonderful, extensive wine list. If you haven’t visited, I’d highly recommend it.My husband and I ordered 3 courses, and each one was delicious. He really enjoyed the chicken parmigiana he ordered off the specials menu, but he still had a bit of menu envy when trying my dish…braised beef shortribs. It was so good, I’d go back just to try it again.The service was very quick, the staff friendly, our water glasses always full, and the seating is very comfortable.
My husband and I went here for a date last weekend and it was amazing! We shared three of the pastas and each had different favorites. My favorite was the caramelle (seasonal) and my husband's was the carbonara. We both really enjoyed the gnocchi with rabbit (also seasonal). Our server was very attentive and helpful with the menu. The sparkling water with lime was a really nice touch (worth the extra cost) and the homemade foccacia was very good. The banana panna cotta was really unique and delicious! We definitely want to go back!
