Omdl... I came to find this place bc of how hood the Nigerian food looks on IG (lol) and now I have an addiction that only Fannies can fix! Super delicious... I get it to go <3
I go here for the vegetarian jollof rice all the time. It's always been bomb af. Its not spicy unless you use the sauce in the plastic container. I also ventured out to these puff puffs which came with this spicy sauce. The combo together was delicious. Oh and unless you're eating there though, make sure you order ahead of time to avoid the wait.
We waited for two hours to get our order. The puff puffs we ordered were full of raw dough. The rice was burned. The plantains were as tough as leather... probably reheated from the day before. Totally disgusting
Creative, wonderful spice and very original. As mentioned in other reviews, service was slow. It was a good thing we didn't have anywhere to be. The staff was polite and courteous. We did come for lunch during KC restaurant week. There was a dish we ordered, but didn't receive and on getting our ticket fixed, they offered to make that dish for take-out.The atmosphere reflects the culture. In my opinion, the music videos on the big screen TVs was too loud to enjoy conversation with my company. We tried and enjoyed variety of dishes!Street parking was available and was easy to enter the location.
Wonderful. The Puff Puff , plantains and Jollof rice were super tasty. Highly rrcommend
This was yummy! Just a little hole in the wall, but super clean and super delicious food. We got a chicken dish and the peanut butter soup, plus a side of plantains. So good
Food is delicious!! I heard about this restaurant this morning and couldn't wait to try it. Good sized portions. Meat pie appetizers were really good. Pepper sauce gives the right amount of heat. Fried rice seasoned well.
I've waited 43 and a half years, and now in 2022, I've tried Fufu and I am in love. (w okra soup and goat) Thank you Fannie and crew for such a cool, delicious experience traveling from Atlanta Georgia. Now we will compare every fufu to yours.
This place is a hidden gem!Authentic African cuisine cooked by an African family (here in the USA).Prices are an amazing deal. The staff is very personal, very friendly, very attentive and very professional.A true gem that warns one’s heart!
Jolof rice with chicken with rice and plantains was delicious! The chicken skin was so crispy. Their ginger tea has a great spicy kick to it.
