Terrible experience! My wife and I came in for dinner around 7:45 and was met with 3 staff (only 1 seemed competent). The staff were arguing with each other behind the counter. Blaring some nasty, awful music with every other word cursing. Unaware of even where the water cups were. (They were on a shelf at eye-level right behind him. Clearly he didn't look around at all.)Another customer walked in for a "doordash" order and was dismissed and treated rudely. Then after she left the building the staff talked badly about her to us.Food was overcooked and overpriced for Kansas City. Go anywhere else.
Good food, a little pricey, you get full when you go there! BBQ beans were great! Sauce is on point. Good atmosphere. Feels like your havin a picnic bc of the wooden tables and brown paper towels. Def recommend.
Great food , the owner is always kind to us.Highly recommended for families specially on sunday, kids eat free .
Need to get something else on the menu because I am a picky eater and won't try something new. The lady at the counter was very nice and conversed well with the customers. I like that in an employee/owner. Means that they care on whether you enjoy their food or not. I did and will return.

We were in KC on a weekend ski trip and all the restaurants were packed. We went for a quick fast food style dinner so we chose a place we had never tried. Food was very good, employees were great and we got our food and ate before we would have even got a table somewhere else.
From the first time I went there I felt like I was going to see friends. Mrs. Laura and her team are so inviting and kind. They food is always hot and fresh. They jalapeño and cheese sausage is the best. Just walk in and say hey and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.
Ordered food online, never updated the status or received a phone call saying it was ready to pick. So of course the food sucks cuz it’s been sitting an hour. Pretty terrible service honestly. Specially since several of the workers crowded the registers to see if I would make a scene in the store.
Sorry folks, was going to show you what we ordered but when we took the first bite, It was Sooo Good we ate it All..lol..Well Worth the Trip. We ordered it the Burnt Ends plate and Shared. Yummy..
