Great restaurants, beautiful boutique hotels, excellent shopping!
Darrell (shuttle driver) was the highlight of the stay. He was very personable, energetic and made our whole party feel welcome. The front desk team coud take some notes on hospitality from Darrell. The hotel is centrally located but the building is a little dated.
Don't forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a resort. This site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the best in the area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you won't be let down.Enjoyed the clean rooms, Beautiful off street parking at a small price, but luxurious hotel. Me and my kids stayed at Christmas time and Truly Enjoyed ourselves, it was definitely a Christmas we want forget. The Beautiful Christmas Trees, the coffee shop and the Restaurant inside saved us from going out due to COVID-19 restrictions our stay was Perfect. And I will Be Back...
My stay here was great. The front desk staff was friendly and upgraded me to a suite as a Platinum Elite member. The room was very spacious with great views, but the washroom area was way too small given the size of the rest of the room. Not sure why such a small bathroom was planned for a hotel like this. Had a nice dinner at the restaurant in the lobby and the waiter there Khalid was very energetic and attentive. It was a lovely stay here and the location was great as well.
By bullet points: Pros: • Convenient location and amazing views. • Roof pool and gym. • Restricted access to upper guest rooms. • Professional and honest staff. • Turn over daily. • Fresh linens, towels, and toiletries of good quality. • Very large room with a convenient desk, sink, Keurig, and mini-fridge. • Large TV in each room Cons: • It feels a little dated, but not terribly so. • My keycard failed to open the gate one day, but it was resolved quickly. • The ice machine on my floor was down. • TVs are not smart TVs so bring your HDMI cable, a Chromecast, or similar if you want to watch your streaming services. The long version: Finally! I am traveling again. After a long hiatus from one of my biggest passions (traveling) I am back on the road. I finally found a job that requires a lot of travel, and right on time as the world settles into the new normal after our Covid woes. This is my second trip this month and for this occasion, I decided to stay at one of my old time’s favorites, the Crowne Plaza. Truth to be told, I feel that the Crowne Plazas have felt old ever since I started traveling at age 19 as a Roddie for Luis Miguel, Rolling Stones, and other famous ones. But one thing that has always been true, is that it has always been familiar and comfortable. The staff was friendly, efficient, and something very important for us “road warriors” familiar. My check-in process was quick. My preferences were honored, including the side of the building and being on an upper floor. My corporate negotiated rate included parking, which is welcome downtown. Unfortunately, someone forgot to code that into my stay past the cut (which I assume is Mondays), and my key was not coded for this. My key worked fine on Saturday and Sunday, but on Monday it didn’t let me out of the garage, which was a big inconvenience because I was just in time for my first appointment, and I had to back the car, find a parking spot, and run to the front desk to get it recoded. Thank goodness there were no cars behind me, and that I am an experienced driver, backing in a steep incline with a large blind spot, is not for the novice. But the issue was clarified quickly, and I received my new keys. After this, no other issues happened during my stay. My room was cleaned daily, my towels picked and cycled, and my sheets changed. I have stayed at the Marriott down the street and in Boston, and I’ve had to beg the staff to turn over my room. Not here, by the time I got “home” after giving my best, everything was fresh and clean. The room is huge, as in an economy condo big. It has a small fridge that at first seemed like it didn’t work, but it froze my milk. It also has a small sink. You get a Keurig and two pods a day. The bathroom has a vanity light and plenty of illumination with a makeup rim light around the big mirror. Toiletries are replenished daily, and they are of good quality. The room is so big it has a walk-in closet, and a full-size iron and ironing board are provided, therefore it is possible to pack a carry-on for a week of business travel. In your living room, you get a desk with plenty of plug-ins for all your electronics. The bed is spacious and comfortable, and the view… at least from my room was spectacular. I want to make a final note. I forgot my keyboard and I did not realize it until a day after when I opened my bags at home. I called the front desk, and sure enough, they had it. The requested I sent a printable shipping slip, and they took care of packaging the whole thing with more care than Amazon, and that is saying something. I really appreciate them taking care of my mistake, and it is a pleasure to deal with a professional and honest crew. My keyboard is a 300+ dollar special keyboard and it would have been really terrible to have to replace it.
The King Suite was huge-even a walk in closet!! Within walking distance to Power and Lights District and many restaurants. Comfortable beds. Staff was amazing. Big Pappa- as his friends call him- was the most amazing shuttle driver- he catered to our needs the entire weekend (not an easy task for a bachelorette party!!!
Went on anniversary and this place seemed pretty great. But it was overall very underwhelming. Multiple issues in room. Parking garage was a fight even though you pay for a spot. (Though we were there during graduation). Place feels old if you like that kinda thing. All around it met the needs of a hotel. But just quality is not a 4 star hotel. Feels closer to motel.
I risked my $1000 thinking it would not work, with no confidence I was so surprised when I checked my forex trading account and unbelievable I made a profit of $14,000.00 this is unbelievable I couldn't believe it myself and all glory to God for bringing Miss Morris Bertha to me very de ligent and straight forward in her work, I really appreciate her... Paid almost $600 for two nights over Comicon weekend. I cannot believe the poor quality of this hotel for this price. First issue - they have no where near enough parking for the number of guests the hotel can accommodate. Once their lot is full, which is almost immediately, good luck. You will have to park somewhere else downtown and walk back. Second, no microwaves in the rooms - in fact only three for the whole hotel which has over 300 guest rooms. Third, they have a buffet breakfast with the same mediocre-quality food you get for free at most other hotels, only they have the audacity to charge $15/person for it. Bonus - their bakery/bread products had green mold growing on them. The hotel needs renovated. The bathrooms are insanely small - you can’t get out of the bathroom without opening the door and then squeezing between the toilet and door due to it’s small size. There are no fans in the bathrooms so when someone showers the entire hotel room fills with steam. Dirty grout, bottom of bathroom door has absorbed so much water the wood is swollen and drags the floor, making it difficult to open/close. For $600 I expected WAY better. I’ve stayed in &75/night rooms that offered more.
The room was great! Only downfall was no microwave in the room but they have one downstairs. The full steam coffee place in the lobby is great! So many choices for pastries, and sandwiches. (We stayed in king suite) which had a walk in closet and separated living room. Very nice!
